Started off the day going to a cars and coffee event ..three 40s, one 55, one 100 and one 200. And about 150 other cars. Sorry no photos. Finished the day replacing my inner boots for transfer case and transmission. Here is what I took out Of transfer case boot. No boot on transmission.
PO used screws for the transmission boot. I replaced with stainless M6.

Got some new cables ran to the ground and starter.

Got a bit ambitious and broke the blower motor resistor while cleaning up the connectors. I soldered in one from SOR, but now my low is barely blowing. I didn't even realize it was blowing until I turned off the truck. I didn't check the resistance before I installed it, but apparently it should be 1 ohm. I'll be diving into this I guess this week.

Thanks, I should check it out. Used to spend a lot of time out on East Beach on Chappaquiddick, first with my 62 and alter on with the GX470.

Agreed. Have it on my phones and iPads. It is great when you are on a bareboat that doesn’t have good nav. Ive used it in the Caribbean a bunch.
Never bareboat cruised the Caribbean yet but hope to. Sailed to Bermuda but went out of range with Navionics chart.

Picked up some used Thule 387 gutter mounts off of eBay (they’ve been discontinued) and paired them with some 65” Inno load bars as Thule doesn’t make square load bars wider than 60” anymore. Personally I’ve always preferred Yakima racks but from what I’ve read it seems clearance is an issue with their gutter mounts unless a spacer is installed.

Pleased with the strength and feel of the racks, will be used mainly for surfboards during the summer so won’t be too loaded down. Can be removed in just a few minutes if needed, which is also convenient. Gotta say I’m loving the look so far!
