Replacing the old Radiator with a nice 3 core aluminum one. Cleaned up the rad holder, a little Coroseal and paint.

I had to modify (cut) the mount a bit to fit the bottom of the new radiator. Shroud did not fit anywhere close to where the factory holes were, so I had to drill new holes to fit. No big deal, as it is all aluminum.

Does it feel like it's going to stay on because mine never felt like it's the right size and then just ends up cracking and falling off

It feels pretty tight. I’ll add a dab of weatherstripping adhesive if it needs it. My main concern is scratching the trans hump before I get the cable connected.

I bought the same radiator aswell, required heavy modification to fit correctly. The radiator itself wasn't wide enough to fit the stock bracket so had to bolt some flat aluminium to the radiator then bolt it to the bracket. The bottom hose also didn't line up, but glad its all finally together, Let me know how the radiator performs.

What brand and model is it?

A little touch up on the back side of the new steelies.

Inside this time, don’t piss off :princess:!

Yeah it was a little too windy this evening to spray outside, I figured I was just touching up anyhow. Plus I want to let them sit for a few days to fully dry before I flip them over and finish the frontside of them.

The grey is closer to the garage door than T621.

What went wrong with it?

Cracks, leaks, it didn't fit right, it seemed like the cooling fins and tubes were super thin and fragile.

OEM 4 core is still available, pricey but cheaper than an engine rebuild.

There are folks that successfully run aluminum radiators without problems, I wasn't one of them though.
