Put on a set of BFG AT KO2s in size 285/65R18 today. Headed west to Big Bend NP tomorrow evening to see how they handle the harsh desert terrain.

I don't want to de-rail this thread but I have a M1101 as well. Do you have a thread that shows how you did the electric brakes and bolt pattern change on the trailer?

The axel is a dexter. SteelSoldiers has the instructions. Look up M1101 lowering.

It has been 4 months since I have traded in my LC16 for LC20. Until last weekend I only had time to replace wheels (to 13-15 LX570 powder coated gun metal) which I had on my LC16 and move to KO2 tires. Last weekend had some time so did more work.

In summary installed:
- DRLs around fogs
- Premium horns
- Aussie Toyota OEM Push Bar
- Off-road lights (added yellow covers)
- replaced rear fog lights to LED version. Comes on with lights on
- Wired V1 radar detector with concealed display
- camera

Are the premium horns substantially louder?

Not a huge difference. I know in some other markets factory horns are a little different than US where they are round. Definitely a huge difference there as you can see in the 2nd video
An example of a difference on GS350.

An example on Russian LC with OEM round horns. Big difference between the two.

Operation K9 kennel commenced. AKA the Dober lounge. Figured it was time to quit having them riding on the back seats. Removed the second row seats and fabbed up a preliminary base and walls for R&D purposes. Want to make sure it works okay for humans and Dobers prior to doing anything permanent. Also, once they get a little older and less unruly, I'll probably open things up quite a bit from the current design.

I added a pickup tailgate LED brake/turn signal light bar on the roof rack for added visibility.

Was thinking of similar, but to also serve as an aux backup light. Some will do white.

No, but instead of communicating, "put the phone down, you f'ing moron, the light is green," it gets the same effect but with more panache.
Any chance you would share an audio clip of the horns?

Curious, which mfr, size spacers? Contemplating similar, still getting some kdss rub with my 295/70/17 on RW.
Spidertrax 1.25" spacers. I don't know if my lift has settled more and the axle has centered back up a bit or I'm getting used to it, but the amount they were poking isn't bothering me. I actually love the stance now.

lol, just found out the answer is yes (albeit close)!

Can you confirm that you've done this? Slee told me that the LC rocker panels had to be done first before putting the sliders on. I have the sliders for the 2013 LX570 but am waiting on the LC rocker panels to arrive before installing them. Thanks!

You can install the sliders with no rocker panels. Once your new LC rocker panels arrive, they can be snapped on above them. The 3/4 inch gap you need to leave can be measured from the lowest metal body panel. You need to remove the old ones anyway, might as well do that now. Once you have them off it should make sense.
