I scuffed/sanded mine and painted with the duplicolor stainless steel paint. It has a gritty texture and has really held up well.

Thanks.
Not familiar with duplicolor but I’ll google it.

Spent the day at Big Bear Gold Mountain. 23 degrees and snow.

I needed to add a light bar for a customer (roof rack was not an option), took a Heritage grill, because bottom has 3” gap that can be removed (non-Heritage has 1.5”). Dremeled out the grill, got a 30” Rigid ADAPT light bar mounted with minimal bracket modification. Perfect fit! Took about 7 hours to get perfect, took new grill to paint to get color coded to Magnetic Grey Metallic. I think it turned out very handsome. Super OE looking, quality-wise.

Same truck: added reverse lights. A set of Rigid scene lights (1x2”) (White) ....color coded 1G3 mounted to spoiler. Your thoughts?

Added a @TRAIL TAILOR tailgate lid to my LC. Very happy with it. Had to make some custom wings and add carpet, but it really adds nice function. Working on a custom mat/cover for it, will follow up when completed.

Thanks.

I noticed they also offer a primer that “etches” into metal surfaces...which sounds like a substitute for sanding...?

This is how I painted my 4 plus bumper on my 40. The SS100 is an exact match for pewter in 40s. I can't comment on how to prep and paint your aluminum rings, but that primer and paint worked very well on my steel bumper.

Nice! Still torn between this and @TrekboxX tail cover. That looks like a good amount of storage. The lid ends don't appear to be closing flush? Is this just the picture?

Got it to flush out almost perfect after loosening some after that pic

Got T-SB-0209-17 done on my '16 LC, and man what a difference! No more jerky low gear shifts during acceleration, no more odd shifts, and feels so much smoother overall. Definitely worth it. Keep in mind it's only a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty affair, and I passed that mark so I had to pay $105 out of pocket. All you 2017 owners, get it done ASAP!

I also finally got one of my TPMS sensor replaced ($250), which was lost during my wheel installation back in April(!). The tire shop finally agreed to reimburse me for whatever Toyota charges to replace it, since universal sensors don't work and since it has to be properly setup by someone with a Techstream and all that.

3 years for many, but certains states include as part of the emissions warranty (mine did)

Got my stage 1 bud built armor painted and installed. Purchased the lite/overland option, and it is 1000x better than the stock tin.

I appreciate the little details, like adding threaded holes for the remaining plastic air shielding to connect to the skid. Well thought out/built product! Thanks!@Taco2Cruiser
