Whatever they did...(not entirely sure)...it was sitting there trying to run AC and any other stuff it does when the engine is running...BUT without the engine actually running.

Both batts automatically link when the engine is running. So if they put it in an ON state...but no engine running the alternator......they both drain.
Wow that is not good. I have the Redarc BCDC 1225 in mine. The BCDC will isolate the Aux battery from the start battery when the start battery is below 12.6 or 12.7 volts I think. I also installed one of their SBI12 battery isolators so I can link the them with a momentary switch in the cab to allow me to jump start from the Aux battery.

My wife did the same thing yesterday as the tech did to you. She left the car in drive and turned it off then went into work. Came out and the car would not start. I had to go and give here jump start. I asked her, wasn't the car beeping at you when you got out and locked it? She said it was but just ignored it because she did not know why it was doing it. :bang:

Well this week, Duggy's Garage in Houston handled upgrades as i worked to pay for it:

BP51 Lift with SPC UCA
Budbuilt Shock Armor protecting Rear Shocks
Slee Group 31 Battery Tray replacing factory
Odyssey Group 31 Battery
Switch Pro's Management System
2 x Front Runner 10" Flood Light (Left/Right Side)
2 x Front Runner 3" 1600 Lumens Spots on rear of rack
Light Kit in rear hatch
Rock Warriors Powder Coated back to Gun Metal
KO2's for new slippers
ARB Dual Compressor with Manifold
Switch Pro's Sunglass Panel Adapter for Mounting Control Pad in Sunglass holder (Thanks @Eric Sarjeant)
ARB Diff Breather Kit
3M Window Tint (Dark but Legal, Done prior to all the above work)

Parts inbound and left to be installed:
Budbuilt Rock Sliders
BajaDesign 40" ONX6 Dual Control Light Bar

HIGHLY Recommend Duggy's Garage (@duggy ). Tom is great to work with, and they do not pressure you into anything. Asked what my use would be and then laid out my options. They address any issues and they will always be my go to for this rig.

And de-chroming this weekend....if this rain stops!

FWIW, my Blue Sea ML-ACR will drop the starting battery based upon voltage alone. I had high draw driving lights in my 100 and when I would stop the alternator couldn't keep up and it would disconnect.

So I tested it this morning as I was leaving for work. Started the truck, waited for the ACR to latch, then put it in D and hit the button. Engine shut off, dash went dead, HVAC fan stopped blowing, but the audio was still playing. The only thing I have right now on the accessory battery is the ham radio, which was on. After the usual ~15 seconds, the ACR unlatched, which isolates the batteries.

When I opened the door, I got a very persistent "BEEEEEEEEEE....." warning noise, with a message "Shift selector to P" on the dash. I can't figure out how somebody could miss that.

Is Duggy performing your de-chrome? Are they wrapping or painting?
I'm doing it myself. Plastidip and vinyl wrap.

Right. And in my truck’s case... the ***Toyota Tech*** was the one who apparently ignored that same beeeeeeep and message to shift to P.... Two days later... Batteries toast.

Call Slee. I bet they could just sell you the hardware.

Part: SOK030 -$49.00
Universal Battery Terminal Extensions (Pair) with Hardware & Military Terminals (Pair)

And we wonder why they put black replacement belts in grey vehicles... :hmm:

$50 for the terminals only?? might as well buy the whole tray/kit :p

But...Did the chocolate milk survive?

Got T-SB-0209-17 done on my '16 LC, and man what a difference! No more jerky low gear shifts during acceleration, no more odd shifts, and feels so much smoother overall. Definitely worth it. Keep in mind it's only a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty affair, and I passed that mark so I had to pay $105 out of pocket. All you 2017 owners, get it done ASAP!

I also finally got one of my TPMS sensor replaced ($250), which was lost during my wheel installation back in April(!). The tire shop finally agreed to reimburse me for whatever Toyota charges to replace it, since universal sensors don't work and since it has to be properly setup by someone with a Techstream and all that.

Replaced muffler with a couple holes in it on 2011LC. Discount online $495 for $674 part. Labor - one hour for $60. In salty New England.

More routine maintenance. Had time today to replace the front and rear differential gear oil and also the transfer case gear oil. The Ravenol bottle is a clever convenience.
Transmission fluid will be next weekend’s effort.

I switched from Method MR701 in 17x8.5 0mm offset and Toyo R/T in LT285/70/17 to Method MR701 in 18x9 +25mm offset and Ridge Grapplers in LT295/70/18. What a difference!!!

Harshness of ride was one of the main driving factors. I ran the R/T on a T4R without harshness issues. On the 200, it didn’t matter how I tuned my suspension, the feedback was jarring and would reverberate. After two days, I can say for sure that my ride is much more gentle, and comfortable. Also, the tires look proportional with the wheel wells. The only negative, if you can call it that, is I have to do just a little more trimming on the front fascia. I’ll just keep whittling away until there’s enough left to finally justify the ARB bumper.

Below is a before and after of the poke.

You're not going to show a side shot of what it looks like? What a tease

@Markuson that sucks. I hope the dealership did right by you. Or more so did that they Should do.

I had 2019 takeoff shocks installed on my 2008 and the OEM front spacers installed at same time. New rear rotors and trd pads. I also fixed the recirc door and rewired dash cam since glovebox was out.

did you use the springs as well? Howis the ride now? Faci g the same possibility on my ‘08 with 145k. I know wisdom says if I’m in there, i should at least go to a Top Dog or OME basic kit, but budget won’t allow it right now.
