Thanks for real info on pricing for suspension and tires I had no idea it could be that much!

Yeah it was going to be around 5k but I decided to get the nicer suspension on it which bumped up the price by about $2k. It was certainly a pricey project but the money was there and it turned out great so no harm no foul!

Changed out my 2722 rear coils for 2723s. I’m already upgrading upgrades!

In all, it took me two hours. I spent the first 45 trying to do it without disconnecting the rear sway bay. I have nightmares based on 4Runner KDSS experience. I gave up, and disconnected the passenger side. Both coils were a breeze with that one side disconnected.

Amazing what a difference a new panel of leather makes.

Thanks. Much respect for those skilled trades and artisans. Glad to know this is possible without buying a whole OEM seat cover.

There are covers on eBay and Amazon around $180 to replace the seat bottom. @Ali FJ80 how does that price compare to the local fix? I have one I need to do.

Where are the $180 seat bottoms on eBay? I see plenty for 100 series and other SUVs, but not the 200 series. I’m probably just using the wrong search terms, but I’d like a replacement for my 2016.

Thanks. Looks like that’s just 08-15 570s and tan. I need 16+ 200 and black. I’ll keep an eye out. That’s much cheaper than from the dealer!
Try land cruiser seat bottom

Well I over tightened the rock warrior wheel lock and now it freely rotates on the Bora spacer lug. Still trying to get it off, anyone have any tips?

Yuk! That's not going to be fun any way you look at it. You'll likely have to cut or break off the stud/nut, which won't be easy without marking up your wheel... I'd probably try to cut a groove/slot in the end of the lug nut, then try to split it with a cold chisel. Regardless, the lug nut and stud are ruined, and maybe even the spacer (if the stud spun). Good luck!

I would take my hammer drill, buy a good drill bit the size of the stud and cutting oil then make a temp stand out of some scrap wood to set the hammer drill straight on the stud and drill out the stud until the lug breaks or falls off. Use masking tape around the working area on the wheel to protect it that may be your best route at saving the wheel. Best of luck
