I gots no crawl or kdss :crybaby:
It's almost a base spec 4.6L only extras were the curtain + seat airbags, hid and the nav

Is that the vpr bumper? Can u send a pic of that?

Yeah I had thought it was the windshield trim too. I am still trying to get it solved. I may try graphite like you, next.

MScruiser,

Ok I figured out where that damn noise is coming from at high speeds. The wind is catching the piece I put electrical tape over. This is not a permanent fix of course but what happens is the wind catches this stupid little piece and makes a rattling noise at high speeds. Anyway I am going to think of a way to get this annoyance solved. Once I do I will post back with a solution. But I am 100% sure! At least on my car that this is the cause. I was going 90 mph with no noise.

what do you think about smearing a little 100% silicone on it and feather it out. its sold in colors so black would basically disappear next to the plastic.
Not a forever fix but cheap enough that it wouldn't matter when the time comes to redo it. just a thought

Rando, thank you. I'll give it a try.

Willy, I have been using black rtv. It's like black silicon, but stronger and made for engine components. I'll try some on Rando's area.

That looks great man. Nice rig

i was feeling lazy today, but i finally put my permanent plates on "L& CRSHR" and land cruiser plate frames. also went ahead and installed my prestigious society nav and dvd bypass kit, really straight forward install, took about an hour of me taking my time and being real careful, also got her washed. it looks like metaltech is doing the 20% icon black friday sale so i'll be ordering my stage 4 kit from them, the billet UCA's from icon will be available january so i may wait to install the suspension but at least i'll have everything.

I thought MT only sold the front coilovers? Are they offering kits and rears now? I don't see them on the site.

icon makes several kits for the 200 series, none of which are listed on icon's website nor on anyone else websit for the matter, if you call icon directly they'll tell you what they offer, i'm sure if you contact the vendors and give them the part no's they can order them for you as i'm sure they don't stock most items and drop ship them directly from icon. they start at a stage 1 all the way to stage 4. stage 4 has front coilovers with external reservoirs, 2.5" pistons and compression dampening control valve(CDC), rear shocks with piggyback reservoirs with CDC valves, and rear trailing links, the stage 3 is the same as the above without the cdc valves, the stage 2 does not have the cdc valves or external reservoirs in the front, stage 1 i believe is just the 2.5" coilovers no valves or reservoirs

stage 4 part no is k53074
stage 3 part no is K53073

Cool.

Oh man...20% is a huge discount!

So the stage 1 has 2.5" fronts and 2.5" rears without reservoirs? I really don't need external reservoirs, but I have never actually seen pictures of 2.5" rear shocks without reservoirs. I figured they did not exist.

Had lots of "fun" today. Went out to the desert and set up the area with chairs, table and all.

Pulled out the awning and as soon as it was all asembled up, a gust of wind kicks in and sends it flying to the other side of the cruiser..... Bang! Luckily it didn't smash the glass and just scuffed up the paint.

So put the awning away and made do with the shade of the trees until nightfall.

Getting late... Time to leave? No the 200 wants to dig a little :bang: tried winching a fallen tree and have it bury itself but that failed as it would just dig in and then rotate up and over even while trying to guide it, the other half handled the winch beautifully even though it was her first time, while i looked around to find another way to position the log she walks off and then asks: how far will the rope reach? I answer it's long but won't go too far and i look up and see her pointing to a tree and telling me this is solid enough. I start to argue that it's at too much of an angle also I'm skeptical of if it'll hold up. I cut myself short walk over, have a look, give the tree a good kick and think what the hell what can i lose, tow strap around the tree, rope shackle between the the winch cable and strap and let's go. I was in for a surprise. The 200 was buried and i wanted some bit of tension and support to help it crawl out of the hole it dug... It freakin rotated on a dime and then started lifting the cruiser up and out.

Two stucks in two days in a row, yesterday a passer by helped. Today was lucky the otherhalf was there and we had trees close by. I'm going to be investing in a sand anchor and put a review + video up as soon as i get my hands on one.

I've been telling you guys they are kits listed on www.trdparts4u.com no uca's though

I ordered mine through them and everything shipped direct from Icon.

Yeah. I have seen that too.

Still no 2.5" rears without reservoirs though.

the visual of their kit offerings is a nice reference
