Feels scary as hell hacking that hole, doesn't it? Did one on my 80, had that experience.

Looks great! Get ready for people to ask you if you can go under water!
Thanks! Yep - thus the beer first  .... equally scary drilling multiple holes in my A pillar.

Well sorted rig you got there, and this was very clearly not today based on those pictures. Want to help me cut a hole in mine sometime?
Of course! I have the 4 1/4” hole saw - don’t spend the $30 - you can borrow mine. I also did rivnuts (aka nursert) for the A pillar mount and have that tool too. You bring beer - we make Swiss cheese of your truck ;)

Is this the ebay snorkel or a nicer/more expensive one.

I couldn’t bring myself to spending $500 on the Safari (although I’m sure it’s high quality, good instructions and template).
Oh ... and you’ll need these - I broke a few taking the fender off and I was being careful and I have a 2007.

Good to have around regardless.

Removed OEM roof rack, put some temporary bolts in the mounting holes, removed sunroof fairing, cleaned gutters and waxed roof in preparation for getting my Gamiviti expo++ installed!

Changed the fuel filter, bought a new bottle jack, and adjusted the hand brake. It probably needs new hand brake shoes but at least it works now and it should get me through a few weeks until I have time to do the bearings and I can pull the rotor off and take a look.

@COGerding .... I assume these would fit my 98 LX? I'm doing the snorkel project this weekend....or, as soon as my rivnut tool and nutserts come in.
I would think so, but I’m not a parts expert. Amazon says they fit 100 series and are not year specific. Unless the holes in the 98 fender well are dramatically smaller or larger - it should snug up fine.

Don't black them out. Toyota puts chrome door handles only on the toughest 100's or the most luxurious 100's... nothing in between. =)

It’s just plastidip if I want to bling it out again ;)

Looks good! I thought that it you had to relocate the antenna when doing a snorkel?

Also, that winch do you have?
There is a cutout for the antenna.
