My LEDs arrived!

Lex, mind taking a pic of the LED that fits in the rear cargo light?

Thanks in advance.

After chasing down a metallic clunk pop sound, and greasing and inspecting and tightening everything under the vehicle, I found it. The rearward end of the upper link on the passenger side was not torqued down enough (it's awkward to get at). Since I had replaced the stock ones a while back it was just about the last place I looked.

My wife and kids can now ride with me without me shushing them so I can listen for the clunk anymore. Victory is sweet, the jalopy feel is gone, and I feel my sanity returning. If you have experienced it, you know what I mean.

El Cid..I'm only doing the cluster, climate control deck, shifter, seat heaters, 2nd/pwr..etc. Pretty much everything except the dome and cargo light. Thinking about leaving those stock.

Haha - great description - been there with several vehicles over the years!

Dropped of the car yesterday at my mechanic to have the holes in the recovery points enlarged so it will fit.
While the car was there, I asked him to check the brakes as it was pulsating under normal braking and greasing the wheel bearings.
He called and told that the rear discs and pads needs replacement, they caused the pulsating, and the wheel bearings are on their way out.
So I will pick up the car today with new wheel bearing, new rear discs and pads, and the recovery points installed.

I didn't exactly "do" anything to the 100 today...but I did check out some tires today.

My local DT has 285/65/18's in stock. I'm concerned they won't look right. What about 275/70/18's? Fwi..It mostly sees street use.

Just replaced hood and liftgate struts with Mr. Lou's...my head is thanking me already :)

Same here. After about knocking myself out one cold morning on the rear liftgate, I ordered some Lou's. Did the same for my wife's trunk lid.

Great price and fits just like OEM.

Whoa, whatcha doing there where the empty is?

To quote Overland Journal "giving a 100-Series Land Cruiser what it should have had to begin with: a solid front axle."

I prefer Solid Axle Conversion. It sound a little more sophisticated. ;)

The wheelbarrow has all the parts that are the source of those cool noises that are nearly impossible to replicate and get rid of. Thats no fun.

You guys got a link for those? I need them badly as well. The 2x4 is ghetto...
