Changed the clutch master cylinder. Simply reversed the steps in dismantling it. Brake master cylinder is next to go. The brakes seem to be sticking once in a awhile.

Wish I had a 100 with a clutch master....

I always wanted a manual. Previously owned an automatic 100, which was much more comfortable,. I sense the manual gives you more control of the car. And with the diesel, first gear is almost unstall-able. Great for slow speed driving.

Got to know my 100 since I just bought it last Saturday.

1. Baseline fluid changes. Front and rear differentials and transfer case.
2. Ran some wires for a radio install. I'll do a write-up for that separately.
3. Replaced serpentine belt.
4. Spent about another hour just poking around the engine bay.
5. Added cabin filters.
6. Let my honey-do list back up.

Shocks and rear brakes waiting on front u joints to come off backorder.

Could not get MetricTLC to respond in time so ordered seat covers from Leatherseats.com Not a perfect match like MetricTLC but the vehicle is almost 15 years old and while my daily driver she is also my camping, hunting, canoeing and work truck around property. So put a set of their PREMIUM Covers on the LX470....different texture as this has the pebble grain rather than being perfectly smooth like factory....but got front seats, armrests, head rests and console cover for $700. So while not perfect match and is a mix of vinyl and leather instead of 100% leather...I needed it now and after a month with no reply had to go with this company. THe fit is nearly perfect and other than not matching rear seat perfectly...they look great. Later might swap out rear seats too just to make it all match. Now to find a replacement door handle for driver doors inside handle or the entire inside door panel so that will look good...and then replace or repair my steering wheel leather. :)

I always use Toyota parts when possible.
Me too for most. Upgrading my control arms though. Was just wondering if there was a better than OEM u joint available.

After owning my 100 for 13 years (bought her in '01 with 36k miles), I just passed 200k on the way to lunch!

And yes, my D light is burned out ;)

It's a right of passage !!! Seems it happens to all of them if driven enough. Lost mine on the 80-series. My two '03 100's are not old enough yet! ; )

installed some modified tundra rocky road sliders.

Which Tundra sliders did you get? Any more details on how they needed to be modified? :)

These were originally Rocky Road sliders for the new crewmax tundra. Guy who bought them did not like them and gave them to me very cheap or I would not have gone this route. With help from a member who is also a welder we cut them down about 24" inches as the crewmax tundras are huge, welded the ends shut, cut off the mounting arms and welded on new ones to fit the LC.

what they looked like originally:

I thought I was going to wait but I went ahead today and changed out the radio head unit for a Nav unit hooked up to a backup camera. I cannot believe I waited this long to do this.
I had a Pioneer Nex 7000 installed

How do you like this unit? How many buttons do you have to push to turn on the backup camera?
