@ls6 recorded a quick example of the quality of the LEDs just for your curiosity and others. Way better than OEM, and more than enough for driving lights.

Plug and play yep, visit the link to check they provide several types. Mine were HB3 (High beam) & HB4 (Low beam) not sure if others are different.

The bulb once you put it in will need to be straight up and down, u may get it right first time or may need to adjust it slightly while viewing through the light housing. Hex key provided + additional washer and few cable ties.

Need to check if you have an after market light housing or OEM , if OEM just check this page in your book I guess.

Awesome. Thanks for all the information you've shared. I just placed my order. I've been meaning to find a decent, simple replacement for the OEM bulbs for a long time.

What'd the paint correction and ceramic run you, if you don't mind my asking?

No not at all, it was $1600 for both ($800 each), but the paint correction was "bundled" with interior/exterior detail (e.g. shampoo, steam clean, etc).

Thanks for sharing, what headlights you have? single piece housing with side markers or older two piece with horizontally separated low and high?
Btw, your lows are too high, incoming traffic having a hard time.

Budget sleeping platform/ future lumber rack. Based on a couple designs seen on here.

Installed one of the Loncky steering wheel covers in the old LX.

Amazon product ASIN B077LRSLXH
It takes a fair bit of time, but the results are pretty good (better than I expected). The leather feels pretty good, but maybe a bit "soft" compared to what I'm used to.

After getting a better feel for the correct amount of "tension", I think that I could get better results in a second attempt.

Those are impressive for sure. i think i may try them out since those heat shields are easily hidden behind the stock dust caps, alot of leds have huge heat sinks.

IMO cut off on those look pretty good to me, especially for oem housings

These are for the LandCruiser though, right? I have yet to find decent LEDs that fit in the weird housing for the LXs....

Single piece would be interesting to see which works better with good quality LED . You have the two piece and LEDs ?

Cut off is fine , these headlight housing look to dip on one side , the incoming traffic side. And are a little higher on the outer side. This is low beam. High beam is impressive imo. My cruiser is too high for my garage and front yard is inclined. I have no ability to align them against a wall like you’re suppose too. But as long as they are straight up and down they are ok. One day I will fine tune it. On my list of things

Poor LED design more than likely to do with LED placement.

Are you sound proofing? While it's accessable, would you possibly be able to take quick measurements of the rear AC unit? Just rough approximate LWD, if you have a chance please. I'm thinking about installing an Eberspacher heater in that spot for cold weather camping, but I want to make sure it's going to fit and I've been too lazy to pull that panel yet. Thank you if you can, and no big deal if you can't!

Did this yesterday .. .out with the old in with the new. Think that gme antenna was nearing 20 years old and had broken tip 😮

Drove the Diamondback Gulch OHV Trail today in Sedona, AZ. Rated easier than Broken Arrow, but more technical imho. Drove the hardest parts well after sunset, now looking for extra lights...

Yes, I have Diode dynamics (US brand) LEDs on two piece (older) lights. Light out put is very good but I'm not very happy with the cutoff as there is a pattern referred as squirrel finders (in this forum) of two piece headlight housing

The 2 piece have squirrel finders or do not have it? Mine definitely don't have that inbuilt. The glare coming off those road signs can be sharp at times. But they are fine , no trouble currently. I rarely use high beams around town, the low beams aren't bad at all. Would be good to have that feature to avoid them going too high.
