Completed the spare tire mod to gain a little extra clearance. Would have been simple if one of the bolts had not sheared off in the bracket. Removed the bracket, drilled out the hole and luckily had a longer bolt laying around to make it fit. Gained just over an inch due to the charcoal container. Now my 275/70/18 is just above the bottom of the hitch receiver.

Too frustrated to take pics after the bolt broke:) Oh well-tomorrow she gets a wash and wax.

Did you realign the canister to gain more inches. There is a thread where someone figures out the process.

100w solar panel installed. Connects to my Rockpals 300w batt. that runs the Alpicool fridge. So far it seems to be keeping the batt topped off while it runs the fridge.

How does it connect to the battery? How did you run the wires?

Windshield replacement leads to trip to the body shop. Will get it done right, but the wallet will feel it I'm sure. Captain Slow is worth it though.

For all the threads and concern about proper windshield installs, interesting to see that I may be suffering the results of a bad install, but also that my local Safelite was very aware of the 100 Series and brought up rivets vs. screws without me prompting them with anything other than a "you guys familiar with how tricky these are?" comment.

And if you are wondering, that's a remote start antenna hanging there.

I am going thru the same thing right now. Body shop will be done next week and now safelite want me to move it across town so they can do the work in their shop. It’s been and adventure and a PIA!

Those would be the Rago Fabrication awning mounts for Lexus GX, but they work fine on the 100 series.

I really like 'em. My main reason for these over others was (1): that they attach to the factory roof rack and (2) how close they kept the awning to the body of the car. About as low profile as you get as far as I found.
@heymarv buddy would you be willing to take a side profile that gets the whole rig in the picture from the awning side just so I can see where the awning sits in the rig? No rush, still waiting on my Rago mounts. Thanks!

Thanks @J1000 - I've always had great success w/ the OEM Toyota/Lexus ones, but recently bought a pair of Denso filters.

Not the same quality, but these with charcoal, I'll give a try. Thanks for posting.

Wow, these look awesome! I think I am going to order a set for my 2000 LC. Thanks!

Replaced the Heater Ts and hoses. The truck is back on the road. I need to get a front end alignment after the new rack and front suspension.
