Sorry for the long post, but got a few things done today being all cooped up. First thing was a much needed YotaMD key. I had been putting this upgrade off for sometime but after 3 years of using a flimsy factory Toyota key, it was time to upgrade. Very impressed by the overall feel and craftsmanship of the key will done Dr. Yota. I also hacked up my factory key a bit so it could fit it into a magnetic “Hide a Key” for when I’m camping and don’t get stranded by my door closing and locking behind me while taking a piss at 3:30 am or something (not like that’s happened before or anything!!!)
Second i changed out the front Amber turn signals with clear China ones, still unsure on which ones I like better, may go back to OEM.
Third, I tried replacing my broken driver window switch for the 3rd time still receiving the incorrect part, I have so far only found 1 Amazon/eBay window switch that has the same harness set up and button placement I need. Unfortunately the switch I currently am using is for a RHD model which causes my passenger window to roll up/down and also disables use of door locks button due to the window lock/ door lock buttons being switched around for the RHD models and doesn’t fit in the trim, I may have to resort tot the factory Toyota part for this one.
Last bit, I received Trail-Tailor front and rear swaybar extended links for the lift. I may hold off a bit more on installing everything I have until I purchase either metal tech or Trail-Tailor rear control arms, haven’t decided which ones yet. Been hoarding land cruiser parts like toilet paper in my garage!

Awesome! Looks like you have upgraded HID projectors too! May be it's time to add your truck's details in your signature!

Last week I had Landcruiser Specialists in Austin do some work on my '00 100 series.

Work included:
Replace lower front ball joints (555)
Replace Front/Rear Sway Bar Links
Drain/Replace Front/Rear TCase fluid
R&R front wheel bearings
New Serpentine Belt

No more squeaking/chirping driving down the road.

Next items up:
I will replace my front/rear rotors and brake pads. Shop said they had about 50% left (pads) so when those go, I'll swap out the rotors and the pads.

It is Landshark outfitters sharknet grill a partial diy project!

I keep checking his site to see if he's brought one out for later model trucks yet--no dice so far, but a recent note he sent out indicated that one might be in the works . . .

Bed platform and storage box for my 2000 LX470

4 days + 7 Home Depot Runs + Lots of "learn as you go"

The box sits level with my rear seats, making a perfect bed platform for overnighters. I had most of the 3/4 birch ply on hand, so my cost wasn't all that bad.
I used heavy duty spring hinges and a BLUM push-to-open drawer hardware for the build to minimize any road noise. So far, it's been amazing! could not be more pleased with the outcome.

If I CNC'd the parts and sold it as a kit, would anyone be interested?

Was your labor/ parts broken down per job? I was curious what the ball joints cost, esp. labor. I have one that is loose, but may just do all 4, with 253k+ miles.

I have one making an ehhhhh ehhh ehhhh squeak, i plan on doing all 4. Might as well since you gotta remove the knuckle to get the LBJ changed, top one isn't much more work.

Took delivery a month ago. Been lurking and thought I should break the ice in this forum first. So far I love this car. I didn't really get the hype until now.

Also, I own a 2010 Tacoma and have lived in TacomaWorld since 2015 so I know very little about what to do next to her aside from the OME lift and tires that I already did (that's a given). Any recommendations would be awesome. Been sniffing around on Slee's site during this pandemic crud.
What size tires?

I don't have a labor break down per item just parts.

Parts:
Serpentine Belt $70
Sway Bar Links $137
Lower Ball Joints $86.50 (total for both).

The UBJ were fine so they recommended not needing to replace them. Same for my rotors, tie rods, and shocks although they did say to keep an eye on them because it is a 20 year old truck with 232K miles on it.

Edit: actually I can do the math and figure out the labor costs from their sheet:

Labor was $125/hr
Serpentine belt was 1.5 hrs = $187.5
Front/Rear TCase Fluid was 1.5 hours = $187.5
LBJ was 6 hours = $750
They threw in the labor for the sway bar links and wheel bearings since they were already in there so = $0

Thanks! My front is already apart for new cvs and front diff, so totally worth it to learn a new skill!

Its actually Eucalyptus Green Mica. However, the color can be shades of green, gray or blue depending on the way light hits it. Really weird.
Oh, wow! It looks like my exact color. Even your thumbnail.
