Dobinsons 3” w/ SPC UCA’s. 285/75-18 w/factory steelies.

Looks sweet! Which 285s, and what’s the rub like? Spacers or just stock? I run 35x12.50-18s on mine and the rub is a tad obnoxious with 2.75” of lift. I’ve run factory wheels with 1.5” spacers and now have Fuels with a bit too much poke. Planning on going 285s in the fall.

If you have the factory skid plate on your Sequoia here is some info that will help you:

The two long factory bolts that go through the spacers towards the rear are just a little too short and as time goes you might find they will no longer grab enough threads in the crossmember to tighten up. Finding the proper length bolts was not as easy as I expected. To get them from Toyota you have to order the entire skid plate install kit, plus you are left with the same length bolts that just are not quite proper. After searching around I lucked into finding some bolts from a Jeep that were a perfect fit and long enough to engage the threads properly in the crossmember. The best part was they were way cheaper than Fastenal at only $2.85 each. The Jeep part number is 6104210AA. I will get picks some time when I have the skid plate off again.

Installed a pair of LFD crossbars to support a Thule cargo box. After buying the box I quickly found out the factory crossbars are too flimsy and the box would rock and bounce violently. Never had factory crossbars that did that before. The LFD’s installed without too much fuss and I am hoping they hold up to the midwest environment. I highly recommend using butyl tape to reseal the rack and bolts when reinstalling.

Did you trim the fenders yourself? Does stuffing 37s effects road manners?
Nice!
Yeah, trimmed the metal fenders, the flares, and had to cut back the steel bumpers a bit.

I’ve not had any issues even when I was mid travel. Haven’t driven the LT setup yet but I’ve been without a front sway bar since I removed my rtt and don’t expect to much change with the widened track width. I kept breaking the end links on my mid travel and got fed up. Photos are before extending them a bit mine you.

I’m hoping my bumps have been lengthened enough because it’s getting a bit tight.
