Its like a trunk money but with a Kraken....lol Not sure yet the other two are for my lights in the drawers and an over head light in the rear hatch I haven't put in yet...
Oh man! I thought it would tied to all the lights, stereo, inverters, the whole shebang at a switch! :P

Tried the zip tie shaky mirror fix and got more shakes, user error though.

Cleaned the windows switch contact so the driver window goes back up a lot more consistent now......kinda important given that we are have more rain in the forecast.

Then the wife saw/tried Wits' End nail clippers and needless to saw his stock on the nail clippers took a hit.
It doesn't rain there, you have no rain.

Swapped out the crankshaft seal, replaced the oil pump cover seal, used 1fze's torx bit screws to replace the old Phillips heads, I also managed to drop the crank shaft key into the engine compartment so it looks like this weekend I'll be removing and resealing (leaks anyways) my oil pans. I also ordered a new Aisin water pump since my original Toyota with 319,xxx miles is making some squeaking noises.

Started doing my BeB.

Cylinder 1 and 6.

265.000 KM on the bearings.

Old vs New

Cleaned and painted the oil pan.

This tube costs €95.....wtf!

Got front and back brake pads changed.
Got E-Brake cable adjusted.
Took pictures of it for others to see it. (It's for sale in the classifieds session)
Went to Louisiana to pickup a server.

I went to Toyota the other day to get some for my oil pan as well. They charge 22$ per tube and the job suggests 2 tubes!!!

I opted out for a couple tunes of black permatex. It's never let me down in the past.

I did the zip-tie side mirror fix and removed a front windshield banner decal.

Looks like you caught cyl 6 just in time. Instead of the Toyota FIPG, we just used Loctite Grey on mine, bit cheaper

Temporarily fixed a rattle that was driving me crazy. Permanent fix on the way soon

Yup, but its cylinder 1 :)
You start counting from the gearbox, everything connected to the gearbox is the starting point. So cylinder 6 sits right in front of the radiator.
Same on drilling rigs. Pump closest to well is 1 - 2 - 3 etc.

Wanted to use all OME parts and thought I'd give the FIPG a shot.

Got them all done. I was worried at first but it's fairly easy and fun. Except for cylinder 5 which is over the front axle.

Don't look too bad.

Now I need another tube of FIPG, another €95 for Toyota Germany.

Oh btw.
The letters and numbers above the Bearing number is origin and date of production of the Bearing shell.

Is that the way Toyota does it on there (1 hdt I'm assuming ) ? On the 1FZ cylinder #1 is the forward most cylinder towards the radiator. Also, did you paint the inside of your oil pan or you just cleaned it ?

@jfz80 whats the story with those new downpipes and cats ? I'm going to be needing some new exhaust before too long.

I just cleaned the inside of the oil pan but cleaned and painted the outside.

He has the magna flow downpipes. They come with a cat, he also has a resonator in that pic. I have the magna flow downpipes and have really enjoyed them. I just wish they were still nice and shiny

Is that the guts of the cat busted loose? I have an exhaust leak that started after my last hard wheeling trip. I've tried like hell to chase it down but can't find anything (no, it's not heat shields). I wonder if it's the guts of my cat(s) have come loose on the inside.
