Mine came in a kit from cruiser outfitters so i didn't order them separately. They were still koyo so you can likely get them directly from them. I only used that image for reference since i like their site lookup system .

Last Sunday I was able to get out and do some exploring for caves. This area is known to have some caves but there is zero information about their location and I firmly believe there are undiscovered caves in the area. The BLM, NFS, and NPS doesn't want anyone to know where these caves are because the area is so remote that they cannot protect the caves or archeological resources surrounding the caves.

I have spent a lot of time over the years checking out different sink holes and outcroppings spotted via Google Earth and I finally struck out. I hiked about 9 miles to check out 3 sink holes I had marked on google earth, none of them harbored any caves but I got lucky this trip and I stumbled across this cave. It was only 1200 meters from where I parked but I couldn't see it until I almost fell in. Hopefully I can get back out here this weekend with a buddy and some climbing gear so we can see what's inside. The coolest part was a small 3' squarish rock in the entrance with some petroglyphs.

Spot the cruiser....

I found that my garage door opener could be adjusted to pull the door all the way up. You might check yours.

I was thinking about that. I thought the door looked like it didn't open fully when I moved in last month. And yes I would have deflated the tires some if the door hadn't gone up further!

I heard via the distributor that Stop Tech is going into bankruptcy, but being acquired by another company....meanwhile Brake Porn. Santa’s lil helper just dropped this off

Nice. Did you use a kit? I might be heading down that path too.
Yep. I bought two of these:
Amazon product ASIN B002IAJV50
Everything fit fine. My pistons were a little gross, but cleaned up super nice and shiny. I used a wire wheel and phosphoric acid to clean the calipers and bolts, then soap and water, then VHT high heat caliper paint. I think they came out pretty nice.

Basically looks just like my motor one post prior.

Kidding, jealous with the cleanliness! All new or what?

New short block, rebuilt head with new oem exhaust valves. Besides the obvious all new yes.

Cheers

The windows on my rig seemed to work great when I got it back in July. But I have noticed they were not so good in the cold (20f) when I was elk hunting. They were slow and would get stuck or almost stop at about 80% up. I read that if they are only slow in the cold than new window runs are in order. Today, I pulled my passenger door apart and replaced the runs. I also removed the window motor and regulator. I cleaned all the grime and old grease out of the regulator tracks and re-greased it all.

I acontinued to remove the motor and opened it up because I found a thread detailing how to clean and service the electric motor. Once I got the motor open I was very surprised to see it looked super clean(the joys of a low mileage rig). I just went ahead and added a little bit of fresh petroleum jelly to the gear in the motor and put it back together. The regulator was much easier to move by hand after the cleaning and new grease. I also fixed the old vapor barrier while I was in there.

Sadly the window didn't seem any faster than before. I timed it going up at 8 seconds before I started and after all that work it still takes 8 seconds. But I guess 8 seconds is good enough if the window doesn't get stuck when it is cold. I will have to wait and see if it is any better next time I get out hunting or maybe Ice fishing if I am lucky.
