I still don't think it's that though...the pedal doesn't really get stiff at all. It stays loose, pump it a little bit(even when pusing hard to floor), works regularly for 5 secs then loose again

I would say master cylinder. Fluid starts to leak by seals into other chambers and will not build pressure.

Diff fluid change. This little pump is money well spent. I've done too many diff fluid changes the old fashioned way. No more of that nonsense!

I did mine today and was cussing and pissed off. I change my diff fluid every 6 months. This would be a game changer! Need more details!

I can get with that. Haven't heard of many master cylinders going back. At least it doesn't seem like it...

Here is the pump. Best $18 I've spent in awhile. It comes with tiny hoses so you could fit it down a transmission dipstick, etc. I installed larger hoses for quicker flow rates. Works fine for my needs.

Got my Blue Sea fuse terminal mounted and some accessories run to it. Blue Sea 80amp breaker on a bracket like @NLXTACY used. Except mine is much crappier and fabbed out of scrap sheet metal I had with a hammer and wood! I'll have a heavier/nicer one fabbed.

I love how much cleaner everything is without inline fuses all over the top of the battery.

I changed my diff fluid. I will never get used to that smell.

Also did the charcoal canister mod of @LandCruiserPhil buy had a million things going on and put the damn canister back together without drilling out the BB!

So I called it a day and slapped a bunch of stickers on to make me feel better!

Installed new (used) gas tank, went to gas station, filled to 1st click, no leaks! And as a bonus my low fuel level light now comes on.

Looks handy. I just use a manual extraction pump type thing. Does about a half liter at time. My recent big revelation was a continuous flow pneumatic grease gun for the birfs. Best $50 I ever spent.

Yesterday I replaced the fuel filter. I thought it might be the original since the PO wasn't the most diligent with maintenance. Turns out it wasn't. It was a NAPA Gold (made in china). I took the grinder to it today and cut it in half. I know, I know "fire hazard!" I wore gloves and did it outside while it was snowing. I then lit it on fire in the fire pit. It was just cardboard. Don't know what an OEM one is like.

Top Tip, don't do this solo. Just because it's possible doesn't make it a good idea!

Also got my refinished rim and new matching spare tire with the rest of the rig so I can rotate it through. Allowed me to get rid of the janky-assed 12 year old POS tire that I was relying on... It went under the rear and nobody will see the cool rim but I will know it's there.

This weekend was spent doing everything my wife needed/wanted. I was able to go to the GooseGear open house. It was a really good turn out and got to meet up with a few customers. Spent so much time talking that I didn't get to see everything.

Wow our minds are working the same, lol. I cut mine open and it was the same type but not nearly as dirty as yours. It was somewhat satisfying watching it go up in flames after all the pain it caused swapping out.
