Does anyone know what bolts are supposed to hold the torsion bar to the seat on the rear seats? The male piece on my driver side is missing bolts to the actual seat so it's loose. Its causing a really high pitched squeak on bumps and it's my last noise to fix inside the truck.

The bolts that go here. I should probably buy new parts, that latch is getting worn down. I’ll buy it off you if you’ve got some spares.

I got side swiped today, thankfully they just hit the mirror and not the body. I’m a good two feet away from the line….. I don’t know how you swerve that much. Does anyone have a chrome passenger side mirrors I could buy? The new oem ones are pretty expensive. I have an 83 but it looks like someone put these chrome 62 mirrors on at some point and I like them

Yeah I dunno, I’ve been in the market for a set because my driver side mirror shakes so much gives me vertigo if I focus on it too long.

City Racer has manual FJ62 mirrors that look the part, are genuine Toyota, and are cheaper than electric (one of which is discontinued). I love mine, and they are rock solid on the road. Earlier this month we took the Cruiser on a road trip to the Oregon coast. The old gal did amazing. Not a single problem over the 2,000 or so miles.

Great video, ever back this way in Oregon I’ve got a hideout 30 minutes to Crater Lake National Park.
