Installed my 2 new mirrors I just recieved today. I am very happy the piggy looks a litle more original.
I Would have done a a tour but il was night and raining so I delayed it cause I have not yet weatherstipping on two glasses driver side.

I welded the seat mounts(ok-I paid to have it done) and bolted in my front bench seat. It's officially drivable.

Now, I get to wade through the process of VIN verification, getting a title, & putting tags on it. Mechanically, I think the wiring is next on the list...

I got some funny looks driving around Cherry Creek, with one thumbs up from an older guy driving his restored '60s Cadillac.

Thanks-it's funny how the wheels and lift/stance are what people comment on favorably.

I am down in Denver.

Tried gluing my guage cluster round openings to no avail it kept peeling back. Had some 4" sewer pipe laying around and found it fit the hole perfect. Cut a couple of 3/4" slivers and popped them in:)

Have been to the toyota dealer to change the gearbox fluid as the filling nut was rounded . they spend 40 mn to remove it, and changed it withn something I could manage myself. I did not check what they did yet. The gy was amazed by the piggie, I am not sure he saw one before. All the guy there were around my car. funny.

Drove it. The Frankencruiser has had a long respite from roadwork...combination of a few minor needs that piled up and concentration on finishing up the 914-6 refurb and taking that on a month long trip down the length of the Pacific Coast. So did a quick highway run to Glenwood Springs and back for a meeting. A reminder of how noisy the overdrive can be at 75 mph but also how well it handles highway speeds. Need to replace the fuel filler hose this weekend, then time for a few other deferred maintenance things and to figure out modifications to my Confer rack to accommodate the new rooftop tent and still retain a little cargo capacity. Might be a springtime Death Valley/Mohave Road trip in the works.

I hope the fuel filler hose project goes well!

Rebuilt a different Q-jet for the 350 and installed it. Changed the brake MC, fabbed an exhaust. Bought a 22 circuit wiring harness from Speedway and started installing that.

Also made the parts list for the Taurus fan/volvo relay/BMW sender install. right around $150.

Only took one picture because it is currently 6* outside.

Mine were a pain in the azz to install, too. I like the two tone lenses. Now you have to ship her over to the states for the pigfest! :)

Yeah the seals were well worth the money. Funny, I really like the all red lenses that you guys have over there....guess you just always want what you don't have!
Will actually be over in the states in mid January (not with pig unfortunately) Whereabouts and whenabouts is pigfest happening??? Will be in Utah and Wyoming for a couple of weeks...

awning and 100mm PVC tube with screw cap ends - for fishing rods! And some lights....
