got in some goodies today...98% complete kit..sad news is put a huge dent in pig funds for this year ....

I'm guessing that your packages came from slo cruisers?

I'll have to start my shopping list and get bits and pieces when I can afford them.

Thanks, dan

@dancar yes from John at Slo cruisers, he said rear cargo window stripping is not avaliable right now. So due to the low demand and avaliablity of these items I bit the bullet and order all pieces he had to make a complete kit. Trust me I didn't want to spend it all at once, as I am not any where close to paint. But when I do get there I did not want to take the chance of not being able to get the weather stripping. ( 5 years from paint ) lol.

@scrapdaddy I looked the mirrors over the seem nice, I have a original set that has seen better days. They seem really nice. I put them next to all my new Toyota lights. I can only dream of the day of paint...

I actually got mine out for a drive! 60+ degrees over the weekend, all the snow is gone.
I went to take her for a drive, and when I started off, I noticed the gas gauge was not showing full. Huh? I guess maybe I did not top her off after my last drive, don't remember.
So I turned around and went back to tank her up. Pig would only take a gallon. Huh? So I drive her down to Denver and think my gas gauge must be messed up.
When I get there I tank her up and she takes 12 gallons. Wow... Drive back up home and go to tank her up and she won't take any fuel.
Did I mention it was really windy? I guess gas pumps have trouble with windy conditions when the nozzle is not enclosed like new cars.

changed the thermostat with a OEM one. Not cheap.
The temp gauge increased a little, checked temp on sender unit housing, 72°C 161 F, on the radiator 77°C 170 F.
still low. Any advice? Is it normal temp for road driving with outside temp 8°C 46° F

I am not sure what normal operating temp is, you are running a 2F, yes?
