Anytime Jackson!

Do you have more pics of this tablet mount? This is exactly what I was thinking of doing for my iPad to avoid buying a new GPS.

Amazingly enough I was able to get my O2 sensors changed out. @murf would be proud, can knock that off the list now!

Added a 200 to the stable. :D 2011 one owner with 58k miles.

Nice pic of the Lexus!!! Ha

Replaced a leaking O-ring on the speedometer sensor at the tailshaft of the transfer case - at least I think it's the speedometer sensor...! Cleaned up the leaky trans fluid around there and hope it stay dry.

Popped off the 'tuna can' and cleaned it out, then removed the air filter and washed it in a 5gal bucket - took 2 rinses to come out clean, and then dried in the sun.

Unfortunately, I found that what I thought was valve noise from the front is actually the cooling fan which seems to have popped the rear seal and has some play in it now. With summer around the corner, I'm going to need a fix on this before I do any more driving, and no signs of overheating - just grabbed ahold and found the play. (Normal?)

On my FJ40, the GM alternator went out on the way home last week (thanks to CSC brother LCP for the roadside assistance!).

Once we got it to the shop, we pulled it off to replace it.....and like the Fix song from the 80's "One thing leads to another" happened.

Once the alternator was out of the way, I noticed the front of the intake manifold on the 1991 5.7 had a crusty buildup from a coolant leak - But hey, while the manifold is off lets send those injectors out to get cleaned and balanced. Lets also update the ignition coil, cap, rotor, & wires. Tstat and gasket ,some vacuum lines, battery terminal, add a ground strap, and a rear manifold heater hose (don't need a PHH-type situation on the trail!).

Just normal age related wear and tear stuff and preventative maintenance but I will feel a lot better on the trail this weekend knowing everything is in good shape!
