@Abigail you have gone full on expo on us. Very nice looking, color match and driving lights. Beautiful.

Does it still fit in the garage?

Thank you! :) and yes, it still fits! We moved a few cabinets around to help reduce the tight squeeze, though.

Added the @Pitch mod, handy place for these very strong anchor points. Thanks Eric for the hammock rated product, tested and proven.View attachment 1375911View attachment 1375912

I found a seat belt bolt with eye loop at Loper's Performance, it's the standard seat belt thread of 7/16-20 and has a 1/2" eye loop large enough to take a full size carabiner. Replaced all my upper and lower seatbelt mounts, great tie down and hammock anchor points! Found the long one I used on Summit Racing: G-FORCE Seat Belt Eye Bolts 109L. Amazon carries them too in 4x and 6x packs a bit shorter. Floor bolts are waaay too long but the wall bolts work great in that length.

As requested @Saddletramp, new bumper pics!

I was just talking with @Chrismanjs about these bumpers. Besides the awesome "Dissent" nameplate, I need to get a pair of these for my truck. The color match looks fantastic! Very nice.

Upgraded to 100?
Nah, just want an 80 version. I've seen @Chrismanjs' bumper but don't know if they produce/will produce and 80 version. I really just want a nameplate for the time being. ;)

I was talking to Dissent about that and he said he's considering designing for the 80 sometime in the near future. Could be a while though :meh:

Misfire Begone!!!!!!!!

Broken injector wiring housing. It must have hung on enough for the wiring to give me a voltage (or I muffed it during testing). I was told the oscilloscope showed incomplete combustion in that cyclinder too. My guess is the reving I did testing the EGR system fully unseated it fully producing an open lead on the ground side.

I flipped a coin, heads dive into the wiring harness or tails pull the throttle body. It came up heads but it kept flipping that stupid quarter till it came up tails. :D

I went the long way round diagnosing this. Kevin gave me some great advice on ruling out my suspect EGR. I'm glad to say the local guys didn't break one of my injectors.

Long time is fine. I don't have any funds for it right now.

Well the PHH heater T's busted on me :bang: Luckily it happened in my work's parking garage and not on the trail! Rivers of coolant flowing out of the truck wasn't a great start to my Wednesday, to say the least. Murf's guys had me back on the road the very next day! Thanks @murf!

Also had the CV boots changed while she was there, as I had been procrastinating on having that done... for shame! :deadhorse:

Are you sure it wasnt the heater T's that broke? I only ask because the 100 series does not have a PHH.;)

LOL you're right, that's what my bill says. I thought I had been told heater hose. :p I don't claim to be an expert (yet)

the darn heater T's let go - thankfully in town and not out in the boonies... By the way - those bumpers look even better in person!

Yeah! While my Cruiser was hibernating the last year it developed something akin to a death wobble while braking. I guess I get to spend some time checking all the usually suspects.

Service Alert!

Drive your Cruiser or it will get back at you.

The 200 threw a P0456 code (evap emmissions - small leak). Tried the 1st mud forum recommended common culprit - new gas cap. I cleared the code and hoped for the best. No luck on the easy fix. Approximately 350 miles later, upon starting the truck on my way to Camelback Toyota for an oil change, CEL back on.Now the mud brain trust says vapor canister. Big shout out and thanks to Murf for expediting the diagnosis and replacing the canister and getting the truck happy again.

Hi guys. I bought my first FZJ80 this past weekend. I own a house a mile from the sonic you meet at but am currently in Farmington, NM. I have owned a couple 4Runners but this is my first foray into the mature world of Landcruisers. Does anybody know anybody in the Four Corners area that could be a resource for me? Went to the junk yard today and got a new tailgate handle and passenger door trim piece.

I need to install a working head unit and replace the valve cover gasket soon. Then flush and change all fluids. Looking forward to building this thing into a beast. Thanks!
