Also item 1A on my “this has to be better” list is creating a flat surface in the back to eliminate the dead space in front of the 3rd row.

After a week it’s already driving me crazy. I purchased some 1/2” thick black HDPE and will be making two separate units to cover the entire cargo space. I need to be able to use the 3rd row (either single or double) on occasion so they have to be easily stacked without a full strip of the cargo area.

Here is my cardboard template for each side; few more tweaks needed to gain access to the tie down, but this should allow me to create a modular surface that doesn’t require much maneuvering to activate one of the rear seats.

Just took delivery of my 700h OT, very happy with the updates from my 600Lux.

Inspired by a few folks on here, went BBS TRDs with Nitto Recons 285/75/18. Also adjusted the ahc sensor arms using the method detailed in this forum. Still needs its alignment (tomorrow) but very happy with the updated stance. So far the only rubbing with the recons is the front flaps, will wait until after the alignment to make and further modifications.
Here it is in N, H1, H2View attachment 4022540

Glad to see another white on the forum!

Love the color, was torn between it and Earth, but a 10k dealer incentive on the white made it an easy choice.
That's a hell of a deal!

Did a little sighting in of the hunting rifles. Also made use of the three lockers. Ran into a soft, muddy section, got stuck in 4-lo center locked. Tried crawl control, dug deeper. Locked the front and rear, hit the skinny pedal and launched out. Quite impressed. And grateful. And need to get some max trax. And a winch.

I like this idea and have been considering something similar. Both for functionality and to help the area from getting scuffed up.

I was thinking about incorporating 180 degree hinges so the "dead space" can be used for storage, and also hinges in the rear, so you can still access those two small storage bins under the shelf.

I very rarely need the 3rd row, but I like that it's there just in case. I've wheeled with people before who had to pile into my rig when theirs broke and they needed a lift back to civilization.

Interested to see what you come up with.

Yep, that’s my exact hiccup right now. Trying to find a container that I can use under the dead space and also somehow access it. The hinges would work but I want to keep it as simple as possible. I feel like I’m more likely to pop up the 2nd row and grab it that way than actually lift up the HDPE. Planning to use high density foam on the left and right to support the forward section if I don’t find a container.

Cleaned the hybrid batter air filter at 13k miles, since my dog sheds like there's no tomorrow. Surprisingly, it was still pretty clean and just did a hand vac and good to go.

Yours is a 2row or 3row? I think the filter is in a different location depending on if you have a 2 or 3 row.

I think everyone is breaking them at the same spots! Honestly we should just call owners who have taken their lxs off road the Cracked Chin Club...
Joined the CCC (three c's, triple c's? C cubed?) with my Lx600, and then was the first to do so with my LX700oth. Does that make me a double member with two votes on the board? Haha 😂

Do those mats have a lip on the front of the second row mats to stop spills from going sloshing under the front seats?
