I added a rotopax mount to my Rig’d Ultraswing.

3 gallons of leeway might come in handy with our puny 17 gallon tank!

Fits like a glove. The Ultraswing doesn’t move much, even over the rough stuff, so the clearance to the tailgate should be enough.

Does that mess with the rear sensors? I assume you no longer have backup cam functionality?

No issue with sensors, and on the spare tire I have a wireless backup camera which connects to my phone and works pretty well.

I'm not quite to that point yet...but I can probably afford to get a widdle wadder, and I might possibly be able to swing the jewwy can too if I save up for a while. ;) Widdle Off-Woad - https://widdleoffwoad.com/

Since I first saw that widdle wadle clip in YT, I never thought this was a business or that they would make a business out of it. Kuddos to them! Entrepreneurial culture is what makes this country.

I know, right? Not sure if they'll make any money, but it's a hilarious idea. I just happened to see their video on tiktok, and it cracked me up.

Question for you guys instead of starting a thread. I test drove a 700h yesterday and was listening for the ICE pop that has been mentioned. I did hear a low bass pop (almost sounded like a speaker pop) at the transition and wanted to confirm that is the noise.

If anyone is looking, there is a 2025 Earth LX700h Overtrail (3-row) at Lexus of Colorado Springs for $120k. It does have ~680 miles on it from being used as a courtesy vehicle for a local golf tournament and as a test drive vehicle.

Yes that’s the noise. Did you like it, are you going to buy one?

It was only about a 30 minute test drive on both the freeway and city streets. I thought it was a nice ride though we did see some of the “issues” that have been noted here. Hood flutter wasn’t bad on this LX. We both thought it looked better in person. I noticed the popping but the wife didn’t. Both of us felt the seats were more comfortable than those in my 200 or her GX550. We were both fine with the two screen display and the general layout of the interior.

We threw our names on the waitlist for a 2-row version. Figured that will give us some time to think about it and see if anything gets fixed in the 2026 MY.

To me makes no sense paying full MSRP for a demo vehicle. You have no idea what happened before with that car, and these are usually ridden hard by whoever gets to drive them. Possibly also sent to one of the YT car reviewers, which treat them even worse. All those 0 to 60 these cars get while barely broken in, can't be good for anything. I would never, but it would only make sense buying this for a heavy discount, unless you are really pressed by time and need an OT right away.

My thoughts exactly which is why I put my name on the waitlist. I didn’t really push the issue because I don’t want or need the third row. They might be open to a price break but I never discussed it with them.

Smart. I did the same. A bit of patience and you can get decent boot space and, even better, for a $1750 discount. No brainer. The reality is that with that half-ass solution Lexus delivered for the 3rd row, the LX is just NOT a 3-row vehicle. I might be wrong but still bet the 2-row OTs will have added value in the future.

Just took delivery of my 700h OT, very happy with the updates from my 600Lux.

Inspired by a few folks on here, went BBS TRDs with Nitto Recons 285/75/18. Also adjusted the ahc sensor arms using the method detailed in this forum. Still needs its alignment (tomorrow) but very happy with the updated stance. So far the only rubbing with the recons is the front flaps, will wait until after the alignment to make and further modifications.
