Would they fit if you mounted them upside down on the upper tabs?

OR… mount them on the sides above where the ARB badge is on the bumper.
The upper tabs are angled on the underside and not flat.

Mounting on the sides will probably block the headlights but will check

This time I sold them for a 1000$ each because they came over in my container . Shipping a pallet of them here will cost a bit more but I want to keep the price as low as possible, I am 6.1 and these fit perfect for me .
Interested in this if you end up bringing more over.

How’s that beast ride and drive? I was really tempted on that one.
Drives good. Just fine tuning it and baselining it. It’s a lot smoother than my leaf sprung BJ73. Really enjoying it and getting to know it.

Yes 13bt.

I am trying to add lights to my ARB bull bar but they don't fit with an 8274 winch. How dumb would they look above the bar?
Make some adapters/extenders or some type of subframe that bolts to the stock light tabs and relocates them far enough forward to clear the winch? I think that’s about the only clean solution. On top of the bar will block your vision and look wonky IMO.

Today was a work day for my 77...

In the morning we went to the dump.
Then this evening we got some home improvement items at Home Depot, including a couple of new doors.

Having the truck completely empty for a change certainly helps with the utility role.

Interested to know what’s wrong with transfer case, or was it to just inspect and replace seals etc?
Initially my plan was to replace the clutch and the output flange seals as they were weeping. Once I removed the rear drive shaft I discovered lateral movement in the flange indicating the bearings needed to be replaced.

Bought some presents for the troopy, fully committed to this nonsense now. I'll likely spin up a thread at some point soon just to document the swap as its both motor and trans (t-case is staying with the adapter). 1FZ-F and H150 for sale soon with all the bits and bobs, ~100k on them (you can even come drive them first wow how nice right??)

I don't think I've posted anything of substance for awhile haha but it's been doing great some random notes:
- Scheelman's very comfy (more than I thought TBH) but the planted bracket raise them a surprising amount, ended up swapping to a 350mm nardi rep, I'd probably go 360 instead but didn't see folks call that out before.
- Anyone doing a 4x4labs rear diy, careful you get the right crossmember/shell size, I didn't haha. Was able to make it all works and actually like the way it ended up but still it was real confusing for a second there. (I t'd the reciever tube back into the cross so it doesnt protrude and cut 2 inches off the top of the wings).
- Vintage Air kit I swapped to has still been working great but DONT made your own lines, its SO annoying to chase the leaks and they cost more anyways vs buying made ones from coldhose. It would take a bit more planning but that finally solved my very slow leak.

Lastly, anyone know where to get new mid floor matts?? I know you can buy the fronts from any dealer but a line on a middle would be amazing.

Local car show this past weekend. There were six 70 Series in the lineup. 😊

I might be interested, too. Do you know the model number, perchance?
Do they mount significantly higher than the stock seats? That's a problem with the Scheel Mann's & Planted brackets.

They sit actually lower then oem seats with the brackets I have . These are special order and not distributed by the regular dealers .

Don't know if you follow my thread or not. I also put Scheelmann seats with the planted brackets in my Ute and it was too tall between the two. So I asked Planted to send me a new set that wasn't welded together yet. Which they did and I then shortened the legs as much as possible and was able to lower the seat height about an inch, not much I know but better.
