I'm sure you'd improve your top speed, but somehow I don't think your clutch/driveline would live a long and happy life.

The inches of additional ride height might also do some interesting things going around corners 🤔

Top speed goes down drastically when installing much heavier wheel tires combo that are also larger and therefore putting more strain on the engine .

Sonim xp10

ive had every iteration of their phones and I CANT break them,
they will last until you are sick of them they go out of style, become obsolete, and then come back in style from nostalgic hipsters ironically using them
Do these have android os? Some of the really tough phones I checked out wouldn't allow me to customize them for my work, and being on call because they had some proprietary os. One of the reasons I also avoid anything Apple.

Never heard of these ones, thanks for the tip!!

Looks like I may have a little transmission work in my future.

Downshift from 4 to 3 is no bueno.....syncro appears very unhappy and bad noises happen

Shifting up from 2 to 3 is fine.

Sorry to quote myself

Would appreciate some feedback.

I have an old 40 that i was planning to put an H55 and xfer case next year.

As I understand it I need a different input shaft for the 2F engine vs the 1HZ.....not a big deal

Am thinking about accellerating things and buying a new H55 and xfer case to swap into the 77 and be done with it.

Then this winter take my time working to rebuld the H55 out of my 77 to be put into the 40

This will minimize down time for the 77......just an accellerated drain on the bank acct.

An wondering if I can eliminate the electric transfer case shifter for 4wd in favor of a lever like on the 40....anyone done this on a 77?

Am I missing any glaring issues?

yup, i used to hear people complaining about their broken phones, then i'd take mine and throw it as far as i could, or drop it in some water 😆

A fellow club member saw this one in Gainesville, FL today. Maybe the owner will chime in. 😊

Yesterday I got to drive backwards about a mile cuz of a dead tree.
Near Mt Antero in Colorado.
Made me kick myself for not finding a nice way to carry an electric chainsaw.

how many miles round trip ?

About 2000 miles on this trip , in a few weeks I will be picking up a HDJ80 in Seattle and that’s nearly 5000 miles round trip including some sight seeing and visiting friends . You should come over and join me as I plan to stop at the cruiser museum

I will need to bring a marker .. ;)

A signifigant step with the 12 H-T swap. Passed inspection for the fist time in more than four years. I'm very happy with the 12H-T, it is so easy to keep up with the traffic compared to 3B.. and fuel consumption seems to be a positive surprise, first highway test 10,35 litres per 100 km (22,7 mpg) .

That sound with a quiet whistle...😍

What flares did you use?

Note to self:
Go clean my engine bay. 😁

Figured it was time for a bikini top, I'm too pale of a PNW person to not have shade.

So I dug up @FJBen's old post 70 series bikini tops - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/70-series-bikini-tops.477488/post-14189898 and found that despite being "discontinued" 4 Wheel Parts had a few in their warehouse still had the Smittybilt top in stock. I have to report compared to my old Bestop on my FJ40, this top has zero flapping, and good coverage all the way to the doors (no more rain coming through the sides on top).
