Hello,

Purebred's battery died after seven years.

I replaced it a couple days ago.

Thankfully, it happened at home.

The 12H-T is in it's place finally. 5 mm gap between turbo and steering shaft is enough, I hope..

Today's job: Lay three hours under the truck, scraping off bridle undercoat the PO had applied at certain areas. The original undercoat by Toyota is still good and will remain. Got it down to the sheet metal's original primer. Dirty job in uncomfortable position. Got about 1/3 done today.
Good news: No subsurface corrosion found so far. 🙂
Exposed areas will be coated in my trusted Brantho Korrux later.
In March the truck will go to an expert shop for body cavity and underbody preservation.

Apparently Quick Pitch is starting to make a version of these specifically for 70s with a recess for storage.
I’ve seen a couple Australian companies make some that bolt straight to the door but wanted something I could purchase here in the states, bolted it straight to a 1/4 plywood and it’s safe to say that table isn’t going anywhere
