I opted for 295/70/17. Measures in at 33.6. I’m glad I went with it because a true 33 looks great, I think a true 35 would look a little big.

Thats a great size. I probably would have went that route had I not had OEM 16" rims. How's performance with the bigger meats?

Maybe the spring will weaken after multiple heat cycles. Could you tweak the metal "shroud" to make a larger diameter...slow it down?I guess it is too loose to stay put during the "release when hot" mechanism is activated .
