 Or in other words started my flare removal project. I will duraback the out line of the flares. I can't decide on black or dark grey. My bumper is grey but that can be changed as well. I also have some rock sliders under way that will debut soon? What do you all think? Black or grey duraback grey or black bumpers and slider?

there's nothing like spending Sunday throwing gang signs whlie wheeling in the ghetto with the :princess: and the bugger..Nice urban "Ghetto" wheeling..........:D

Lifted the left front tire off the ground to check for bearing play. Found some, then proceeded to discover that the tire installation monkeys torqued the lugs to about 1.7 gazillion lb-ft. Going in today to get that fixed.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot. Since I was foiled in trying to do wrench work, I vaccumed out the cubic foot or so of dog hair donated by my lab and my german shepherd, windexed the glass and leatheriqued the front seats.

contemplated pulling another boulder with it...

sunday...

Blasted thru all the snow walls made by the plows here in the northeast. Also looped the LC during a tricky corner. Almost stuck it in a ditch. Guess I'm used to the vsc on the lexus. I also learned that continental tires - even when new - kinda suck in the snow.

blasting thru those snow piles was fun though! That push bar might have been a good idea after all....

Removed and cleaned up EFI fuse contacts. Relocated connections to new block positions under the hood due to previous melt down. Everything seems good to go.

7-pin mod, new throttle cable (w/ insulation), new intake tube, new plugs. Cleaned the interior and removed the 3rd row seats and belts in anticipation of rear Tuffy box.

Then I when four wheeling on the side of a volcano. :D

Built a J-Moose inspired roof rack (J-Cab). Adding the light bar to it tonight, after which will post some pics.

Drained and refilled the transfer case. Realized the rubber expansion plug was being weakened by the oil and removed it, now I'm back to square one on that deal. Anyone know where I can get an expansion plug that won't be broken down by oil?

Replaced the speedo o-ring.

Did the FHH using the hoses and clamps I won from the New Years PHH/FHH drawing :D .

Got almost everything taken off to do the valve cover gasket.

Cleaned the throttle body, still have a little bit more to do on that.

Got a sore back from reaching into the engine bay.

Face planted on the intake manifold when chair I was standing on went AWOL.

No prob. Doug..Sorry about the non-existed hardware for the ARB  ......First thing tomm, I will ship them UPS to your casa.....:D

Replaced washer diverter, noisey idler pulley and silicone sprayed rear windows that were slowing way down with the cold weather we have been having in Houston.

They were sticking so bad that they were pulling the rubber away from the top of the window frame on the way down.

Coolant drain, flush and refill with Toyo red.
Decided that seeing as both sides of the power steering system are leaking I'll get a pro to do the work.
Took pics of my 45 Ute that's for sale.

Traced bad trailer wiring harness and replaced, steam cleaned upholstery, removed rear mud flaps, cleaned up and rehighlighted lettering on the flaps, cleaned and newspapered all glass inside and out....

Installed Alpine CDA-9856 with the IPOD Full-Speed cable.

Sounds GREAT!!!

Removed factory hitch, threw the spare in the back, and pulled off my running boards. New truck to me, let the fun begin.

De-virginized the 80 on Coyote Canyon out of Borrego Springs. Ran into Alvarorb and CruiserDrew on the way out...nothing cooler than pulling out of the way so 9 built 80's can pass me by.
