Good for you, congrats!

Some beating and banging, strapping and cutting and everything is sorta back in its place. Seeing that I managed to pick every bad line and did the dirty work of clearing the rocks for everyone else. LOL.

Back to being inspectable!

Congrats Ben!

Just did a serious cleaning on the cruiser, and pulled out the stock 18 and put my new 295/75-16 bfg ko under there. Just barely fit! Will post pics soon, need beer.

Oh I know you can. I like the way it looks when it's muddy too!

Last night I started to get the pig back on the road. Installed gear drive in the 350. Replaced the water pump and flushed the radiator. Next is the replace the transmission due to a bad 3rd gear. When that's done it will be installing a locker on the rear and replacing the axle seals.

Spent 4 hours yesterday replacing my blown speakers in all 4 doors. Went with JBL GT7-6 for front and rear. They didn't fit in the stock housings exactly, but it was close enough. Also ripped apart the 3rd row and glued/plastidipped the rear sub cone since that was rattling. I bought a kicker 5.5 inch replacement, but the stock JBL sub is sealed so I decided just to ghetto repair it for now and return the kicker. Sounds good, less bass than stock since I didn't get an amp for the new speakers but tolerable for now. All in all I'm happy with the results for only $150.

Oh, and taking apart everything and putting it back together has solved several squeaks and rattles so that was an added plus.

Placebo effect!

Your new speakers are louder so you can no longer hear all the rattles and squeaks.

:)

^^ Haha, you might be right! I did actually drive with the radio off for a bit this morning, I do think I really took care of a few.

Well I thought I would be driving it today, but never made it out of the driveway! I'm so pissed off. Hydraulic hose fitting failed on the HP side of the power steering box. It was brand freakin' new. It obviously wasn't pressed on correctly when it was put together. UGH!! Oh and bonus, just had the driveway seal coated. Now it looks like this:

Congrats man, don't know if it's your first, but being a dad is pretty awesome. If you haven't already, check out Car Seats For The Littles on Facebook. Those ladies take their **** seriously and will weigh in on your car seat install and give lots of advice that's not exactly intuitive to new parents. Definitely a great resource for vehicle/ travel safety.

Been concentrating my $ on the Tundra lately. Family wanted steps to get in so MT sliders was my first thought. I wanted bigger tires because OEM was just wimpy. Really wanted 35" but didn't want to start trimming so went slightly smaller. Finally I lucked up and found a guy in NJ selling a TRD Pro suspension. It raises the front 2" to level the truck, increases articulation, handles washboards and ruts better at speed and is actually smoother in DD. combined with the TRD Pro grille and TRD dual exhaust I had already added, I now basically have a Tribute TRD Pro with the features of a Limited. I really like the family resemblance.
