I knew I needed a “project”. One that I could fail at and not be a big deal. Over all it turned out pretty well. Now to get it skinned and mock up hinges and latches.

One shock mocked up

View attachment 4093369doing kdss brackets and had to pull skid to modify for clearance. Noticed this... Guess I'll be doing water pump, tensioner and idler pulley sooner than I thought.
That's "fun"
Hit us up if you end up in a bind. Definitely a job. Did it on a 4.7 w the engine out and it was still a job haha

For the sake of time, or lack there of, called Hailey Toyota near my office(shop) and surprisingly labor was well within the okay somebody else do it range. All being done monday.

Damn son “rolling”
I got a deadline!

Not sure I will get the rear 4 link in before Relic Run, might have a Carolina squat going on😁

Really is an awesome amount of fab work you are doing
Yeah, this is not a "bolt on" kit, lol! Most of the fab work is done. I plan to hang the axle housing back in tonight and see if the spring rates are close. If not I will need to order some more spings. I am aiming for 4.5" of up travel and 5.5" down. I also need to figure out my limit strap length and get those ordered.

I can not wait to take it for a ride and see how it does.

I have a set of springs that came on my 80. It was about 3" lift. Let me know if you want them.

I did the must-have Dr. KDSS brackets when I lifted my GX…have you done the selectable KDSS-off mod yet?

I have a panhard bracket from him, but the 200 has a different Kdss system I think. Supposedly opens the hydraulics below 15mph? basically not on. I did brackets in the front to move my swaybar/kdss mount forward for clearance

That is the same KDSS setup in the 150s. The system automatically opens the valves below 15mph for use on slow trails but over 15mph activates and tightens all sway. This switch/harness allows you to turn off KDSS above 15mph for ‘spirited’ highway driving or for me, dirt/gravel track where you are going over 15mph and want a much smoother ride from allowing that fancy suspension to fully articulate.

Also nice when you mod your truck and need to ‘reset’ the suspension level without having to manually open/close the valves in the system. You can just turn it off, drive straight for a bit and let the system self level / reset much easier.

Actually…just checked. They are either sold out or no longer have them listed for the 200. If you see them pop up again I highly recommend for the relatively low cost and ease of install.
