Got some shade and privacy for our family beach trip coming up.

That thing is huge! Good luck on your fishing trip, at least catch a buzz!

Been collecting LC parts but no where to install them with my cluttered garage. So past week or two in the afternoons I’ve been throwing stuff away and trying to reorganize.

Yesterday removed a cheapo storage rack and installed this with some 14” wide red oak slabs I milled. I think it turned out pretty nice. Now time to fill them up.

I know Amazon says HAM but the beofang uv5r is programmable and isn’t HAM specific fyi. In case you didn’t want to ship it back

Gotta get a new impact. Anyone using a Mikita or Milwaukee one they like. I don't need one that does 200ft lbs really just for everyday use.

Impact driver or impact wrench?

I ask but I have both in Milwaukee if you want to test drive.

I have been using an impact driver for the past few years but the reason I have to get a new one is the socket attachment snapped in half and is stuck inside the holder (I tried welding to get it out and it's too stuck) so I'm thinking impact wrench. What style Milwaukee? there are so many iterations.

I have the Milwaukee 3/8 drive #2854-20, it has 250lbs of “nut busting force”. I chose it because of its stubby size and I didn’t need the 600lbs of force the next one has.

For impact drivers, I have the Milwaukee surge which is nice and quiet and a regular impact driver which does seem to have a bit more torque in it.

I’ve committed to Milwaukee because of the batteries. I’m sure other brands make good stuff too.

The Milwaukee has different torque settings. I have Dewalt and Milwaukee, Milwaukee seems to have a little more torque. I use dewalt at home , it's what I started with, so keeping with same batteries but on my work truck I have Milwaukee.

I concur with @Toyodajunkie !

I’m running the Milwaukee 2962-20. They make a bigger one. For me this one is mainly used for wheel lugs although I have used it for other tasks.
