Lower tailgate hinges

They don't look like any lower tailgate hinges I have ever seen. I was thinking maybe they had to do with the rear seat.

Rear seat brackets as Jack said... think they started in like '66-'67

My early lv's didn't have those, aren't the rear tailgate stays similar?

That's them. The truck has been fine for the last two years without them but I came back across them today and figured I'd ask.
