Welding up greasable shackle pins? (1 Viewer)

Aftermarket bolts don't have the "shoulder" that sits against the far side shackle plate (these are anti-inversion shackles) I was going to switch to 3/4" bolts but the labor involved in modifying the shackle plates and the bushings will not fit into my available time prior to heading out to Cruise Moab.
No one, as far as I have found, sells 18mm shouldered bolts
 
I will try Ace for sure to see if they have zerks that fit my new shackles, but I do not have the time to drill/tap the pins (see "Cruise Moab" above). (Note that the existing pins needed to be replaced due to rust/pitting etc anyway)
 
I run with my zerks to the inside of the shackles. Not saying that there aren't just as many rocks near the center line but I think you would slide sideways into them less.

It also helps when removing a shackle because the exhaust isn't in the way.
