Them Kevlar MTRs be gripping the air fairly well...

Maybe you could have Red Green fab some propellers for them?

Nice driving on a technical obstacle!

in my experience, BFGs are not too bad at the air gripping, either :hillbilly:

The following advertisement is brought to you by Discount Tire

The picture below is blatant disrespect and abuse of any tire since they are never intended to be aired down

Just had to share my love from the Discount Tire message I am receiving. Had an appointment last Friday, take off work, show up for my appointment that I scheduled earlier that morning. "Sorry, he just stepped out, is there something we can help you with?"

I called the Corporate Headquarters in Scottsdale this morning and the manager called me within 45 and my appointment is for tomorrow. ;)

Tony, pls post up what the opinion of what the line in the tire sidewall turns out to be. I'm curious on what it might be.

Tires are made from several rubber compounds, they have differing wear rates. The line is where the tread rubber (slower wearing) meets the sidewall rubber (faster wearing). For most uses (street) it would never be seen, if wheeled often, the shoulder area rubbed on rock, that line forms, from the differing wear rates and bond line.

More interestingly, what will be the story that the discount boys come up with?:hillbilly:

Never seeing the tires I was also thinking a bond line from the molding process that is now visible.

I think Tony just wanted to make sure they were safe before selling them?

Maybe they will  and offer to exchange them all for new ones? :hhmm:

im sure he wouldnt mind :steer:

That is correct, my main concern is the safety for the buyer.

So far I have had a lot of smoke blown up my ass

Discount Tire Dude: "Well that is your problem right there, those tires are not made for a vehicle that heavy"

My reply (after a very long stare): "Then WTF did you sell them to me for?"
