1980 FJ40 with a weber 38 carb looking for a switched / acc 12v source -

So far, I've read that some people here like to use the ignition coil - however mine only puts out about 6.5-7v, so I assume if I used that, that's gonna take longer for the carb to open up. I've been doing okay without it hooked up so far (in Alabama heat) but when temperatures drop I'd like to have this functional.

I have a desmogged truck, and after reading up a bit in here I see that the FCS source should put out 12v if the white wire is put to ground - I might have my info wrong though, I'm incredibly new to working on autos.

Pic attached - I'm pretty sure the top harness is the old FCS harness - if I wire that white to ground can I use the other wire to go to my weber without frying anything? Sure would be a great spot to run to the carb if so.
Other harnesses are posted out of curiosity - I don't know what they did, but I put a meter on them and didn't get any voltage.
