Our first shirt was Navy, the current is Charcoal.

Yes, the more colors the higher the cost.

Grayscale is not really a thing with tee printing. Solid color only.

There is digital printing, but that is not as vivid or as long lasting.

I would personally be willing to spend more for a better product, but not everyone will feel that way.

@YotaFun yes blue and gray. I like the gray scale Mashup idea too.

I have several friends that do screening, and even have a friend that works at custom ink. Bonus to ordering from custom ink is you can change t-shirt colors and ink colors for free as long as you do 6 of them. Also things like camo, pink, or whatever you want become options. Zip up hoodies or pull over, long, short sleeve, etc are all affordable as long as you stick to one ink color. As Caz mentioned multiple ink colors really drive the price up. I also know some fellas that can do stickers, but same applies. Vinyl type one color tend to be cheap, but ones like we have now can really drive the price up.

this is assuming the club doesn’t have somebody that we already work with, I’d wouldn’t want to take business from an established local guy if an existing relationship exists

We've been using a local guy that we use where I work. He also happens to be a buddy of mine from high-school. From what I can determine, his prices are SMOKING!

I had the first "prototype" shirt printed at Custom Ink. I think he is at least $5 cheaper per shirt than they were at quantity.

That said, I'm not against having someone else quote - he is a broker so he is not really making much from our 10-20 piece orders.

A guy on CLCC is doing hats for them. Sounds like he either has the equipment or knows somebody: Land Cruiser and CLCC Hats

I'm not a "pocket tee" sort of person. I'd prefer having the logo on the front in place of a pocket.

I vote to keep the logo as is. Maybe move the logo to the sleeve? If it's always on the sleeve then the variable becomes the front and back. We can then Print up a new one every two years with a cool picture on the front (or back) and put a date on it.

It should also be mentioned, any member wanting more shirts or stickers can buy them.

We need a new batch of different shirts - I'd say just do a new/different color. Of the two shirt designs we have, I like the gray ones - the logo on the front was a bit much for my tastes. I'm thinking of nothing on the front for the next batch and maybe a pocket tee this time?

Here was my original thought for embroidered hats. I think it would need to be dumbed down - would probably lose a bunch of detail in the stitching. Navy blue or gray hat would suit me.

My two cents on the subject...

No way do we change the logo. We went through MANY iterations of it four years ago, before finally agreeing on this one.

I love pocket tees.

Rarely wear hats, but like the idea.

What about using pics of our rigs for a mashup.

Keep the logo. Put the logo on the sleeve or left front chest. Mix it up with different original artwork on back or front.

I'm up for hats, hoodies and T's if available. Like the additional colors, willing to pay the extra.

I like the original blue, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got a charcoal shirt in the mail with my membership. The charcoal color looks even better IMO.
