umm

I just read on the live race desert site that 876 rolled, reported as minor injuries. No other details.

You left out 1,000 feet down a hill

Quote Weather Man
"PCI got a call from IRC that race 303 witnessed a vehicle roll 1000 feet down a hill. Confirmed Race 876 is roll, possible injuries. Chase en route."

That would have been Kevin according to his post.

"We are breaking up the driving duties into (4) 325 Mile legs!

Yours Truly is driving the first leg and just my luck, i have the legendary Chad Hall, who has won the last 3 Baja 1000s in a row starting directly behind me! Jerry Zaiden (owner of camburg) who is racing the insanely cool new 08 Tundra is starting directly in front of me! Jeez, talk about pressure!"

I hate to hear this. I know they put a lot of work in this rig and we can only hope that the cage is as impressive as TT leads us to believe. Anyone who is spiritual should throw some prayers out for Kevin, Taz and the rest of the crew.

That may have changed Mark.

They were told because Brett is the driver of record he had to either start the race or finish it.
There was some discussion Brett would start.

Hope all get out well.

Just saw this on the live Weatherman feed as well . . .

Man I hope those guys are alright. :frown:

Is the live feed aerovac stuff related to 876 (Kevin)? Said the guy had a possible broken rib and concussion. Was combative and sleepy.

In all seriousness, combative does sound like Kevin :frown:. Ofcourse with the adreneline and hard work that has gone into this truck/event, I am sure they all could be combative. Maybe even Taz who is as cool as the other side of the pillow. I hope that the actual injuries are nothing worse than this report.
