Here's a shiny (too shiny?) example for sale in my part of the world.
Auction linky.

That is pretty darn shiny! Someone likes chrome...

I like this bit of history: "2nd owner was 36 year employee and personal friend of Jack Safro. Jack's grandson Daniel named after him"

you've got mail.

I have one sitting in the Seattle area, the guy has held onto it for me for a few months and I feel badly for not getting down thier.

Spent all my money flying out the the Round Up and cannot see getting the cash or time to get it.

Email me at rclassman@shaw.ca

Even comes with a olds school warn winch upright that is of the age of the truck, pretty cool.

Rob

I have a 55 for sale, some "minor" corrosion issues and assembly required :D

I live in salt country so a southern & southwestern truck would be your best bet. Check the 'FJ55 classifieds' section as well.

Well guys, I ended up finding a 78 FJ40 that I just could not pass up. The thing is almost rust free. 28K (documented) original miles. The engine starts up better than my 02' Tundra. So the pig is going to have to wait. I plan on doing a frame up restoration on this one. Heck it even has the TEQ front windshield, and it is not pitted at all. The top on this 40 has not ever been taken off. A rare find. I bought it from JC in Conifer...very knowledgeable guy btw.

Thanks for all of your help.
