Foggy memory here even though I did this only in the last couple of days...
I took a stab at estimating shipment from AL to NE and using a weight of 100 lbs. With that the online Fedex rate was $55, I think. Point is, shipping may not be too bad if you get a crankshaft from someone relatively close by.

Thanks for the replies everybody. I found a guy in Lincoln that has a good 2F motor and we are working out the price. If it falls through I will be contacting one of you.
