I have the access hole cut as well. It's not conducive to instructing either. It's definitely a great example to what to look out for. The vast majority of folks leave the 80-100' of winch line that comes from the factory on the drum. When they spool out the line (usually not to the last 11 wraps on the drum for synthetic), rarely does it spool back on evenly across the drum in a winching situation. The line piles up up on one end and BANG! the winch and line get destroyed.I cut two access ports into the top of my radiator plastic cover, my winch also has an LED light on the spool, works for me.

The Ironman has always just been a placeholder.
We are on revision #3. It’s should be close to production by the end of the month.Any update on the rear bumper?
The strike installation video plan is to start next week. Trying to wrap up all the gx bumpers before the end of April.Any idea when we can preorder/order the strike? I know you said some time in April, i just keep checking your site so I can throw money at you guys. Also super interested in what you guys come up with for a rear bumper, have never been a fan of the metal tech I currently have.
I know this is a little off topic, but since you're on here often, I have a Victory product question.
I’m not gonna lie. This has me rethinking my bumper choice.
That's the best thing ever to happen to Lexus' Battlestar-Galactica-Cylon Grill!!!!
Id rock this!!!
The GX460 rear is too narrow to share the same cargo shelf as the other models. We have plans for an over the head shelf.I know this is a little off topic, but since you're on here often, I have a Victory product question.
My birthday is coming up this month and my wife wants to get me "something" for my (our) rig. I've already purchased your rear quarter MOLLE panels and LOVE them!
If you go to my build thread you'll see them all packed out! Here's the link, start at post #89: Builds - R2M 2013 GX460 Overland Build - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/r2m-2013-gx460-overland-build.1104719/page-5
So, to my question (or couple of questions): I want to get your Interior Cargo Basket that goes between these panels, but per your my GX460 is not an option. But you have the 5th Gen 4R, GX470 and and 100 Series. If I'm not mistaken, shouldn't this work on my GX also?? Are not the 5th Gen and 460 about the same interior dimensions?
My second question is: how high can you mount that rack? I have an 85qt fridge that is tall so I am hoping that I can mount it pretty high.
Or do you (Victory) plan on designing another top mount shelf similar to the Kaon shelf? With all due respect, I like the Kaon because it has a MOLLE pattern on the bottom and since I'm Army, I have a lot of MOLLE mounted gear. So IF you are planning on designing one, please consider having that MOLLE pattern!
Thanks!
REALLY??? The 460 (120 series) is NARROWER than a 470 (150 series) and 5th Gen 4R's interior??The GX460 rear is too narrow to share the same cargo shelf as the other models. We have plans for an over the head shelf.
Id recommend having your wife get you the new fold down table we showed earlier in this thread. It will be released in the next couple weeks.
More to come...
