I've got the a good seat cover for a Fj40 passenger seat +/- 74.
I'd trade you for an iou for some welding on my p/s conversion..
FYI the seat backs and bases can be swapped side to side.

That's the plan, but it'll still be a ways off. I was figuring I'd sleeve the frame with extra thick wall tubing (or 1.5" round stock bored through), plate the inner frame rail. I wasn't planning on welding plate to the outer frame just sandwiching it between the box and the 'tube'. Part of that is because I'm not a welder, and a part is I'd rather not weld on the main frame rail if it's avoidable. I know that many have welded on 40 frames, but it's certainly not something I take lightly.
I've got two U-joints, a slip joint (shaft), a Scout box, and a couple P/S Pumps. One of these days, I'll cut off the rag joint, machine flats onto the steering shaft to the U-Joint, and then sort out the box mounting and drag links.
Unfortunately, the timing chain is toast... or at least I'm hoping all it is, the floor needs attention, and in a fantasy world rear 1/4 panels.

Anyone have some 40 series SOA driveshafts kicking around they would want to sell? Or some early fj60/minitruck driveshafts with double cardan joints? also does anyone have some diff gears (9.5 inch) with a ratio of 4:56, 4:88's or something around that ratio? Im cheap and dont want to have to buy new gears $$$$
