Thanks, I saw some on there but were a 16.5 inch rim. There were some 80 series as well ( I believe). Was hoping to not have to run spacers.
Careful with 80 series in 15" wheels. I just got a set and need 1/4" spacers to not rub tie rod end on a 70 series front axle.

Upper Lower? Cruiser pilot has really nice lower, upper has a but of rust on the inside lip..

Hey y'all. I'm lookin for a front seatbelt and two rear leaf spring shackle plates ( the ones right in bind he brake lights. I can source them online somewhere I'm sure, I just thought I'd chek locally first. They are for mY '81 bj42. Thanks guys

I'd like to get a front e-locker eventually. The OEM one from an 80 series is a perfect fit for an LJ78. If anyone comes across one for a reasonable price, please let me know.

Hi all we'll I've been a member for 6 years this is my first post . Been a TLC nut for a long time have a couple of TLC FJ 40 ones a rolling chassis no body , has motor transfer case trany axels drive shaft ect. It's a 1978 I think ,have a some parts as we'll . The deal is had big plans , problem is not much of a mechanic ,and some of u might think I'm crazy but I had a 1000 sq foot 3 door garage with 15 ft cealings that I turned into a custom cutting meat shop ,so no where to try and b a mechanic , with that said I was thinking about $350. ,I'm in lake Cowichan thanks. I'm looking for two chrome hub caps (for the front - with holes for manual locking hubs) for the stock FJ40 steel rims. If anyone has a pair please let me know. They don't have to spotless but hoping to find a pair that are in pretty good shape.
I'll also be looking to find a pair of jump seats for my BJ42 as well. However, restoring my set of stock steelies and getting those put on is taking priority

new truck has a clunky LSD and I don't have high hopes for it, be nice to be able to just swap it out while I decide whether to bother fixing it.

It's not just a oil issue? I had a Cressida once with an LSD that was acting up. I put in new oil (redline 75w90 I think) plus some LSD additive and it transformed it. Had lots of fun on rainy days after that...haha.
Yeah, the pinion flange was kinda loose, so it hasn't done the splines any favours...Could probably goop it with some JB to keep it tight, for a temp fix, or it'd be good for a wheeler, just not sure of the bearings. And if I'm taking it out, it'd be nice to have something to swap it with.
It felt like a lockrite in there to be honest. s***loads of backlash when on and off the throttle. (and 12ht throttle is a bit of an ON/Off switch which so it kindof accentuates the problem)
The oil wasn't silver but, I'd like to have a spare around anyways. (Axle code on the 40 says 3.7. poo. )
