It was calling to me in Victoria, but SWMBO talked sense into me. I'm sure a deal I'll live to regret not jumping on tho.

Hey guys, looking for two parts and I thought I'd chek here first. I'm after a rad fan and a combo switch for my 42. Anyone have one or both kicking around?

combo switch? turn signals you mean?

I might have a 40 column around, I'll have a look later. I did find a visc. coupler the other day, but not sure what it's from. No fan on it tho.

Someone needs to save me the hassle of posting that 40 and 3b on used vic and fending off all the smrt questions...starting with "can I drive it home" :bang:

A mere $1200 bucks and it could all be yours. Even includes the hardtop now, although papers are proving to be slow. Mainly due to the process being in the hands of a large difficult to motivate redneck.

hey thanks for looking seapotato, lemme know if you come across that signal/ hibeam switch. ( my kid was playin in the 40 and he broke off that signal arm). i work at the dealer and my cost on a new one is still $200, faaak. hey do you think a metal fan i have for a "f" engine woul work for the 3b?. the fan clutch works ok it is just the plastic blades have broken off. thanks man, see u at the next meet....

Keep your fingers crossed, I'm heading out next month for another parts gold mine, bought out another cruiser barn full, so the Dyna is going for a work out. Now that's DIRTY!!

I'd be checking your engine/tcase mounts and body mounts, plastic blades breaking off are common to that drama as they kiss the shroud.

Is it the 7 blade 380mm? They are the same as Y engines and some early R motors.

Basically two viscous clutches in that year, wide and narrow 4 bolt to the blade. Also seen small and large stud to the wp pulley, nothing a drill wont take care of. If you have the small 4-5 blade unit they are a bitch to find. Believe that engine is BJ60, swapped when the 5 speed went in, so check for #'s on the blade for confirmation of vintage.
