Metal ones are great and not even that old. The plastic ones have a plastic pick up straw that the gas eventually rots and when it cracks or breaks off you keep sucking air into the fuel system when bouncing over waves as the fuel sloshes around driving you mad making you think you have a leaking hose.

Correct steel ones have a steel pickup, plastic ones have the unreachable and not visible plastic pick up and are a throw away when they get old.

In hindsight. If you are home I would like to use that tank. Initially I was actually seeking something larger. But it would be fine for single day fishing trips.

Local HVAC places are all butthurt because I'm not paying their ridiculous quotes. 27k to spend two days installing something worth 5k. I'll pass thanks.
