I just last month got a big generator. This would have been fine, too bad.

It is one of my company assets and comes with a serial number and receipt. I had to go with a higher KVA rating, diesel and something that will run over night without running out of fuel so I bought this one. This Makita is perfect for home power outages though.

I’m very happy without power, we would have everything we need for at least a week here. I also don’t love all the generator noise that starts up from down the road as soon as the power goes out, ruins the fun of it. Haha the kid sure isn't happy when the electronics don’t work but some tough trials like this is just good parenting :lol:
 
Looking for 12 open ended Toyota M12x1.5mm. They are for holding on a pair of spacers, so I don’t care about Chrome or anything fancy.

I can get Bumper to Bumper to bring them in, but since I’m frugal I’d rather clear some out of someone’s ‘junk’ pile. Besides, reduce, reuse, recycle… :grinpimp:
 
Decided these are too rough for street use. 1.5” spacers. They would be suitable for mounting a bigger spare on a rack or off-road use. $20 each or $30 for pair. Offers or trade for WHY considered.

Recently had a major 'meltdown' (smoke etc.) from my (420K) A442F tranny. It no longer drives in any Forward gear, even with new fluid. From what I have learned, it requires a major rebuild. As this is my daily driver, it's a real pain.
* Looking for a working good condition A442F transmission. This must be the full hydraulic model from an HDJ81 (I think these were stock in 1990 - 1992 1/2 LC's), not the electronic version found in N. American spec 80s. Any leads would be most appreciated.

I ended up with 2 of these sets.

2 40 series door locks
1 ignition cylinder
One locking gas cap.

Gas cap is a bit hokey. Needs a thicker gasket or washer to tighten it up. Obviously not OEM quality at this price, but they seem to work ok.

Better than the seized locks I didn't have a key for. :lol:

Was it Morb who lives in North Saanich who swapped his JDM diesel drive train into a rust free California LHD Gasser 80?

Unlikely he has a transmission… but my only other thought.
