I paid $209 for new Bosch 80A. Shipping was $97 Aus post for my new 120A alternator. It was $340
And I’m not selling my 80A 2 yr old alternator.

I got on the phone and called the manager. Let him know what had happened. He sent me this one, but he admitted i
was getting a special price. Sometimes a transPacific phone call pays off. I don't and haven't bought anything from Australia
that I didn't phone someone first. It's been 3 years, and they have gone up in price. I am paying $340 from Road Runner
Offroad for my new one. It's 120A

Yeah that's pretty pricey. They're all over eBay for 360 or so. 309 at the shop Nick posted but they don't ship to Canada.

Or I could get an 80 amp npr one for 175...some modifications required. :hhmm:

Not phoning is a plus in my book. I hate talking on the phone...why I have the 43 seconds of silence voicemail message.

Nobody sits through that.

Haven't had a voicemail in 2 years. It's glorious.

43 secon…

never mind not worth it. I won’t violate the sanctity of your machine. :D

Challenge accepted!

Now all you need to figure out is how to place a call to his number when no one is home… with time zones & international calls etc.

And it's a cell phone so you'd also have to have me not reject the call when I see a weird prefix. :flipoff2:
The 01110 prefix is almost always a scam call.

Aluminum champion never used, supposed to fit some sort of cruiser although I haven’t found it yet. 150$

Will it fit a 60 (2H), or dimensions? Number of cores? Please and thanks. 😄

Old wheelbarrow compressor. Works, not great for a portable because it trips 15a breakers.
$...I dunno. Trade me something.

I'll clean it up for the Craigslist muppets in a week or so.

Anyone have a good Hj60 rad?

Mines kinda sketchy looking.
Just for future reference, found there's a company in Europe making them.

Shipping is pricey otherwise it could be a decent option. Probably pretty close to 800 bucks by the time it gets here tho.

I guess if you had nothing...:meh:

I'm going to take mine up to port alberni either tomorrow or Friday, and hopefully get it redone.

Maybe I'll take the 40 and piss off some people on the hump

I just blew an oil return line from my alternator. It’s the non pressurized return line from the back of the alternator. I’ve called Greggs Distributors and they figure they can build me a new one. If anyone has any old lines with the large banjo fitting let me know.
I will be ordering new Toyota lines if they are still available. Fingers crossed.

I was a bit concerned as I didn’t originally see the pressure line onto the vacuum pump but this one has it directly into the housing. But it fits. I wish I could figure out how much amperage it really is producing. Anyone know how to test that?

Formerly known as Coast Industrial

I’m sure they could make one.

I was asleep so I didn't hear you out there...

Bizarre coincidence, but I just got an order of alternator oil lines from partsouq yesterday.

This is the return that supposedly fits but it's really short. Only one I could find listed...

Supply is nla, but the 2l one reaches on my 3b. It's an inch shorter than the original bj60, and has a ¼ turn on one end but seems to work.

@stevebradford and I grabbed a couple each hoping they'd fit.
ended up more expensive than I'd hoped but still cheaper than the 80 bucks Toyota parts direct wanted.

The ¼ twist is a bit awkward but it's the only Toyota option I found so far. 2lte one is longer, maybe drain hose is too?
