Can't get a pressure hose for either. NLA.It’s been a weird day for sure. So you got this hose for your 3B? Not the 12HT?
I’m hoping this new one fits. The guy screwed up, made it too short. It’s only 1/2” shorter than
original.
Cool, hopefully they have it.Just ordered from Megazip. They had a 10% coupon today. With shipping in US dollars. But getting factory replacements. Won’t be here until end of month. I’m not worried, I just hope I can make this one work. If not - I wait.
And swap plates to the 74! LOL!View attachment 2788174

The order has gone through. I got a temporary hose made. Seems to be working.Cool, hopefully they have it.
They sometimes list stuff they don't actually have ...
Tpd actually showed hj60 rads for 500 bucks. Didn't exist tho.![]()
Amayama has them too by the look of it. Curious to see the lengths. The order has gone through. I got a temporary hose made. Seems to be working.
I lost 3 Litres of oil from my house to Ryan’s, glad I called a tow truck.
All back together now. Car wash next, leak check. good to go I think.
Can’t imagine how this would have gone somewhere north of PG. Funny when I did the turbo upgrade INo more rusting in the front after that.
I carry spare pressure and drain hose after that happened to me years ago.

didn’t even give them a thought. Primarily since they have no movement. But that return line - it was
ugly rotten and broken down. I will install the new ones when I get them and the old ones will go in the bag with spare belts. Erik’s Hydraulics stocked the metric banjo fitting, only had one. They installed some
triple wrapped 1150 PSI wire impregnated hose, which caused me no end of grief.
Simple 125 psi oil/fuel line would have worked better, been cheaper, and been flexible enough to install without effort.

I figured that out 14 mm banjo, uses the same bolt diameters. I’ve been reusing the copper washers.Vac fitting off the pump is the same banjo as the oil drain.
Yeah for my 3b the hard line with good hose is an easy fix.I figured that out 14 mm banjo, uses the same bolt diameters. I’ve been reusing the copper washers.
I used a long socket over the outlet pipe on the vacuum pump to bend it out of the way of the turbo boot.
All good now.
Is there any way to test the Amperage output of an alternator?
I think most conventional multi-meters are limited to 10A. The clamp style go way higher. You'd most likely have to turn every light and accessory on, bring rpm up from idle to where the alternator should begin charging, and measure Amps and Voltage output. But, I'm dangerous with electrical stuff...Yeah for my 3b the hard line with good hose is an easy fix.
With alternator testing...
Probably easiest to stop by an auto electric shop and they clamp on something fancy to load it up .
Not sure you can get a great reading with a multi meter...?
