Thought it might be cool if we had a thread where we can post deals we see on bike stuff. With black friday and xmas sales coming. We can be on the look out to help each other out.

Personally, don't need much. But would like to build a new set of mtb wheels. So any deals on Hadley or Onyx hubs would be sweet.

Have you ridden Onyx hubs yet? I have a few hundred miles on my first set and now I'm trying to find a justification for new hubs on my two other regularly ridden bikes.

Yeah, had their hubs on my fatbike and my knolly delirium. I love silent hubs!! Running hadleys on my hardtail at the moment, I got a smoking deal on them. They have been really good as well. The shimano hubs on my rocky mtn are fine, but the rear rim needs replaced. And if I'm going to build new wheels. I want quality hubs to take the wheels to future frames as well.

I'll post up whatever smoking deals I come across.

I've used DT 350's with 54t ratchets for the last 3 or 4 wheel builds as the center lock version are relatively light, affordable, and as durable as I need. They've always been a great compromise. But these Onyx Vespers I have now are something else. I'd love to put a set on my single speed.

To start off:

Lots of good deals on drivetrain parts. If you watch for ebay to put out a coupon. You can save even more. I picked up an xt rear mech and shifter a little bit ago. And they are legit shimano parts. I can't speak for the chains on there-as it seems those are often faked. But, after having brought a few things. I'd buy from them again.

Some of their parts have an extra 15% off right now.

Good find!

Ronde Cycling is the go to for grey market brakes:

I have a few sets of XT's from them. repeat customers get 10% off going direct too.

I am expecting to see a decent BF sale from OneUp and from PNW.

I'm not really a fan of imba in general, but if you join you get access to a bunch of prodeals on ExportVoice:

It's definitely been worth it... fox, crankbros, nobl, smith. tons of others, i am getting a bunch of snowboard gear through it too.

Great idea. I'll keep my eye out!

I'll second the ExpertVoice discount site. I've been using it for roughly 10 years now. For those that are not familiar with it, it's a site that allows companies to share their "employee" discount with other companies, groups, and affiliations. Go to the site, create an account, then join "teams" to gain certain discounts. The discount percentage will fluctuate and so will the companies each team has available to them. The more teams you join, the bigger the list gets, and the list of available discounts is extensive. I'm a state government employee and the primary missions of the division I work for are wildland fire control and SAR. I qualify for a few teams which include Wildland Fire / SAR, US Forest Service, and State Government employee just to give a few ideas on how one could qualify.

Also, check out ID.me if you're a government, medical, military, first responder, or teacher. There's some good deals there as well. It's a bit harder to navigate but still worth it.

Sorry if that all sounds like a scripted sales pitch, it definitely is not. I've saved more money using the discounts than I'd like to admit. Mostly because it sheds light on how much I've actually spent on s***.

I got a full new setup for snowboarding this season and easily saved $600 🫣

If anyone is looking for a whole bike Transition just put up some killer BF deals. If I wasn't holding out for a Reeb SST. A new smuggler would be on its way to my house right now.
I think the SST wins

I'm absolutely stoked with the Smuggler I picked up a few months ago. But if I'm being honest with myself, a REEB would be in my shop. I'd love to ride the SST back to back with the Smuggler to see how they compare.

If anyone is need of an entry level fork for an extra bike:
