This may be common knowledge. I was just told by my toyota dealer that rear U-Bolt part number 90117-14001 is no longer available in the U.S. even though the online system let me order them. I tried ordering them for my ‘82 FJ40.

U bolts are still a puzzle for me.
Long 90117-14002
And short 90117-14004
For pre 08.1980
Available from Toyota

Sad it’s not cadmium :(

It’s over in US and in Europe, but outside it isn't important if people live or die. For restoration purposes I might order cad for few small things...

Edited for clarity.

I recently started Offering these in My Store.

Ok @Racer65 you teased us with pictures of a beautiful mat for late model 40’s in April. July came and went and we were all patient. The heat coming off my floorboard is killing me dude!

He told me there was a delay getting materials (looking like September). I really appreciate all that goes into making these things right. I've been waiting a year and a half and will continue to wait as I know it will be a great product. I have enough of his repro stuff on my rig that it might be a FJ-R65 at this point.

When i Opened the Small Wooden Box or Micro-Crate if u will , i was Not sure if this NOS 27020-60040 Had

Found Me or I it ?

It weights over 2 times a Normal FJ60 / FJ40 2F Alternator

also , this
60040 is easily almost twice the Volume , space it takes up in Engine Bay

first thing i did , was to Grab MY Trusty Rite-AID Hand Held Magnifier Glass , and Spot on NO TRACK Marks

on the 3 male brass terminals inside the Case where u plug in your 3 pin Connector Plug

- then i studied the Paper Decal still attached , Dealer Code 04073 etc. ....

also , the INSP. black stamp un-touched by age and Time it seams

the Blue plastic plug in the back is fascinating a well ..

this will be a well documented Restoration , for historical Archives etc

The 27020-60040 is in My 1967 Paper Parts Cataloger

If anyone has a Older documentation Please Post it or Send me a PM

Yup, I know. It's painstaking work...there's always something. I had delays with materials sourcing for the production run, which is now now resolved. Production is going smoothly so far, and I'm fairly confident of a mid to late September release. Until then, I'm sorry I have to entertain you with another tease...
